F.Y.I. The Analog Devices AD2050 meter will read to -150C then display EEE if you go lower. :fact: The Omega HH509R will go to at least -162c so far.:fact:
Yes I’m down to -162c.:D
See I told ya he can probably get to -200 easy lol.
Cryo-tek whenever you have the time to do a rough drawing of a 3 stage autocascade we would appreciate it....no pressure....if you feel like it lol.
3 stage autocascade aitn more than a 2 stage autocascade. Just add another stage.
Yea but I just want to see how a pro would design it.....
-162C idle and load probly up to -145C.......8 hours benching and IHS probly will cracked or come off by itself:)
Amazing work there Cyro:toast:
Wait did he mention nitrogen?
Uh oh...
Cryo, you are officially my hero. Under -150 on an autocascade. That is intense.
-160c or -170c can be done. -200 will be tough. The stuff we might need will kill Superman. :eek:Quote:

d@mn cryo-tek... your knowledge is something more than welcome around here!.
+ im a poor student and you're gonna make be go bankrupt,
been collecting parts for the autocascade competition and now im already checking prices on argon/ethane/r14
Hahaha with cryo around I feal we're going to see more than just 2 stagers.
Think you betta get in line buster!Quote:

Well I think -163c is it for this charge. Each time I add gas the suction and discharge both rise. It must be flooded, overcharged.:(
I pushed S7E9H3N’s unit to this point so all of you could see what can be done with an Autocascade. This unit has a 1 H.P. compressor.
-163c is with the load of the flexline (10 watts) and the cold head. Chilly 1, can you help me here?. Not much load. I removed the load cell so I can’t do ant load testing. I also need to build a better load. Any ideas?
Next I’ll work on some information that will help you make your Autocascades work well.
It’s time for me to go eat.
I think on a 4 stage system. Need to design and build first.Quote:

Well having fun pushing the envelope however I want to make a liquid air plant so -200 will help with condensing my own liquid CO2 :D or Nitrogen.
Ok guys, who has a load resistor they can send cryo?
Preferably in the 100 to 150 watt range....;)
