OH Man so close to the WR 13000+
AMAZING ! FCG hope u aint mad for crapping in ur thread abit..
THX ! Its 3:20AM here ... :toast:
Wow....scores like a Presler on the CPU tests (though still not OC'd much at all), but scores like an X2 on the GPU tests (better it seems actually). Best of both worlds (and it's still not OC'd much at all, neither are the GPUs)!
is there going to be a conroe E6400 2.13 with 4mb???
http://images.dailytech.com/nimage/1...oe_pricing.jpg
show's here its only 2mb..
From everything I've read, the retail 2.13 (E6400) will only be 2M cache as your chart shows. FCG has a 'special' chip. I assume its an ES. The E6600 will the chip to buy... er, well... that or the 3.33xe
For me will be CNR E6600 for 316$
Better wait for better MOBO :slapass:
Me too on that E6600. The mobo FCG is using seems fine. 2.72 so far. Is all goes well, he'll set every record tonight. We shall see.
Man, I wanna see '06 scores on CF !!!
It's only a few posts up :confused:Quote:

Hmmph.
Nice job FCG!
Any idea when Asus Mobo's on the (D975XBX are supposed to be out?
Great stuff FCG. Very impressive.
Have you or FUGGER got hold of a 2MB Conroe though?
Would like to see how they compare against the 4MB ones.
Me like other I presume would be getting the cheaper 2MB versions.
Thanks!
You'd think with it being an ES that it would allow multipliers above 8x?
Surely it would be a lot easier to push it higher if you could just leave the FSB at the default modded 333 (from 266) and crank up the multi.
Does the Intel board not multiplier changing? :(
I don't think the bad axe has many overclocking options--unless you have a EE.
I want a E6700. Looks like the 10x multiplyer will pay off!
how doese one see the revision of the mb ,doese one have to open it or is it on the box? doese it only show the version on the mb? and its 304 we are looking for right?
304 is the one.Quote:

But you need hardware mod for higher vcore/vdimm, am I not right?Quote:

My box sticker shows the string AA D27904 - 302 in very large lettering on a sticker with barcodes on the side of the box. The last 3 digits denote the board revision, as mine is 302 the new ones should clearly show 304 instead.
There is also a small sticker with the same string and barcode stuck to the center of the board itself.
