Remounted mine, might have gained 1-2MHz on the HTT bus stock vcore. So 2853 now.
That's it for a while, I'm gonna prime for an hour or two, do some mulch ( ) and see if they can keep up

my 0550 VPMW 2.95@1.420v air cooling 6 haurs dual prime priority 9 ;) 3.0ghz need 1.480v load 51-52c
nice chip, good info
Try Opty 165 @ 2943MHz @ 1.40V! ;)Quote:

I believe Absolute's old 0550 170 was even better than that!
I can do 2.95 with 1.36v on the 170.
3.0 1.39v
3.1 1.48v
3.15 1.53v
3.2 1.56v
3.25 1.6v primed for a few minutes and then froze
What actual voltage is that? Does the ASUS undervolt? My DFI here says 1.400v actual (with DMM) is 1.376, looks like I'm gonna get about 2925 with that, maybe 1htt step down.
I think I will beat your 0550VPMW :nono:
edit: 865's I mean
edit2: Absolute, are your voltages CPU-Z or Actual?
I think they're CPU-ZQuote:

Wow, that is fantastic  so what's that, like 1.575?
people report DFI boards overvolt, so actual DMM reading is probably around 1.575 yes.
We're getting off topic tho, how are the 0610s doing? :D
2906@1.4v :D Though I think I know now why it's BSOD'd at 324/325*9, I hit the limit of my RAM! It will do ~243MHz at the current timings, and it's at 242.9 with 323x9.. back to testing 325
*off topic again*
just fyi, my dfi board is always spot on with the voltage I set, or whatever calc.exe says for vid special percentages. Then it jumps up .03v exactly on load, no matter what
  :bows:Quote:

Bumped it to 1.375 and left it priming at 2800. I already have a far stronger chip than my 170. Not bad for $277.
Only gripe is that the damn Amd X2 Tshirt I got from Monarch was a large... I wear an XL :(
Here is a screeny. I'm going to bed finally.

Well that passed for over 12 hrs.
From that point on I really do think its cooling. I need almost another .1v just to get from 2800 to 2900. I think I am going to invest in a water cooling system here this weekend and try it out next week.
So 1.45 at 2900? Still not bad! Considering we were both expecting 0551's.
Priming away at 333x9 1.475v, 6 tests done. if I use the machine, even just simple web browsing, it will BSOD or lock- RageXL 8MB is toast.. if it has to render anything but the unmoving desktop it craps out
If this is stable, it will just edge out the average 0608! Judging by the one 3GHz result I remember which was ST4, 3GHz@1.5
Actually, 1.47V @ 3.0GHz ;) but this is with me browsing around and doing stuff (note the 0550 browser below i was persuing around :) . Might be your mem divider?Quote:

Oh my mistake, I thought you were on a DFI board, where 1.472 would be 1.5v. You should do a DMM measurement just in case, I've found my vcore is spot on so I don't bother measuring it anymore when I set it ;)
Up to 1.485v though, got a BSOD@1.475 but as usual I think it was the GFX. Prime stable for 45mins then screw up on simple windows tasks doesn't make sense to me.. we'll see for sure though if 1.485 works
I will try undervolting after I find lowest 3GHz stable volts ;)
Well on the TTBT, I cant get 3ghz stable at anything up to 1.55.
Temps shoot up pretty bad, (44-45c on the expert which is probally 10c low)and since Im running without a case for my testing It will only get worse. Ive tried going for 2x1GB sticks down to 2x512MB sticks with no luck.
2800 was fine at 1.375, I did have one wierd lockup after 15 min, but then it ran 13 hours just fine.
2900 seemed fine at 1.45. I really just think I'm hitting a thermal wall. I do think this is a 3Ghz chip, Im just going to need water to do it.
It will boot into windows at 3ghz, and core 0 primes fine even at 1.45. Core 1 craps out immeadatly.
3066 at any voltage, and both cores crap out.
Yeah I've found this really isn't a low voltage chip, for whoever asked. First booted up at 222x9 1v, had to clear CMOS, next tried 280x9 1.2v randomly, BSOD, priming at 270x9 1.2v now. If you go by 50MHz/.05v, it should scale backward to-
2800@1.3
2750@1.25
2700@1.2
But you need to hit near stock voltages it looks like to get anything out of it. Not a chip for a sff.. I will test max at 1.1v, 1.15v, 1.2v, 1.25 etc eventually
And prime failed at 2432 1.2v
Well ambient has been pretty high in my computer room. Temps are still kinda warm outside and the AC doesnt do much for upstairs.
I put a 120mm fan across the PWMs and dropped them from 49-51c down to 37c
Im doing this now at 1.475 its getting better.
Passed 25 minutes of Prime So far.

Anybody here have access to COLD temps? I want to know if this cpu is gonna be bugged. If somebody's willing to loan me one, I'll be happy to run it through some testing on my autocascade :D And by low temps, I mean something like this:

btw> can you 0610 owners tell me your tcasemax and tdps? tia
