Ya, I thought so too. It's 2.7 with the .03 option enabled. It shows as 2.78 in bios. I don't have a meter to check it with. Thats on the wishlist :D

Just flashed im goin to check voltages in the morning.
anyone think bigtoe will mod the bios at all?
Running it now, all seems well. Haven't played with it enough yet to notice any gains/loses.
I just flashed to it in windows. Had to reset my O/C again, but its running fine.
2.7ghz opty 165 @ 1.4v
I too am running this bios just fine from the 11/14 bios. I can't be bothered testing to see if I can get any higher but exact settings from 11/14 are working stable and hassle free in this new bios so I am happy.
Ok heres some voltage readings from my DMM. I used dual stress prime to load both processor and memory.
Stress: loaded unloaded bios
Vcore: 1.533 1.503 1.5
Dram: 2.64 2.65 2.6
Chip: 1.49 1.488 1.5
So its pretty much the same as it was with previos bios'. Except before my dram voltage wasnt overvolted, and the vcore overvoltage was .05.
It also doesnt seem to like the memory settings i had already tested and set from the previos bios.
Cpu temp adjustment just seems to be a software compensation rather than calibration.
I have no clue what to set that cpu temp adjustment too. What is your reference point? I would like to try it out but don't want to make matters worse.
This was next to impossible with 704-2BTA untweaked.
With this new bios, memory untweaked I managed to get this

Like this bios :toast:
And the X1900 logofix owns ;)
Nice results! I dont seem to be able to get anymore out of mine as of yet.
The new final version of stress prime is out, came out April 5.
Damn, already 2 hours on its way @ 1.5V haha. Do you accidentally have a link?Quote:

Dagnabit  I can never get SP2004,Prime nor OCCT to run no matter what bios i use. Just flashed to the 3/29, still clocked @ 2.8Ghz with same settings from the 704-2BTA. I can run any and evry game ( UT2k4, F.E.A.R., Q4, BF2, COD2) without so much as a hiccup for hours, yet Prime, OCCT, SP2004 crash within seconds. I don't get it :dammit:
Prime would last with 704-2BTA? Almost cant be...Quote:

Should work but I don't want to be stranded with a non-posting board ;)
Maybe read the thread next time, and see my screenshot above :toast:Quote:

One little bug I found with this bios is that loading CMOS reloaded profiles with my USB based Logitech G15 is a no go. The profiles don't load as if the key isn't being recognized as being pushed. The strange thing is the DEL key is recognized allowing me to enter the bios and manually load a CMOS Reloaded profile from the menu. Yes I overwrote my profiles with new ones created with this new bios and not leftovers from a previous bios. Anyone else get profiles to load with their USB based keyboard?
Vdimm is up to 2.92 from 2.8, must be mobo... had to be... chalk up another | for DFI... this is the 6th one. Unless someone has a vdimm mod i could follow?
For me it didn't work as well as older bioses.Quote:

Ouch :( Mine seems to change, after a while of using the BIOS without a cmos clear, it goes to 2.58 from 2.5.. but a freshly cleared cmos does 2.55. So I lied, the bios doesn't fix overvolt, the cmos clear fixed itQuote:

Apologies if this was already covered elsewhere.
Well it would run for a few minutes before it would crash, but that's alot longer than any bios i've used including the 3/29. I just don't get it  I've just about gave up on all the stress testing software. I've gotton to a point that if my pc runs my games, apps without crashing, it's good enough for me. Just anoying that stress programs crash, but evrything else runs fine.Quote:

Shall report back on how it helps everything else shortly.
I ve tryed it, but moved back to 704-2BTA. I think the board don t like my Crucials.
I m getting error @memtest with every bios version.
Curious, the Crucial works fine in my K8NF-9, withou any errors.
But the Buffalos with the same chips working A+ on my DFI.
Strange,strange
Hm, i hope i can get a fixed K8NXP-9 from the RMA.
