All youd need to do -- download the Intel NIC drivers ahead of time for the motherboard its got a 1000MT nic (theyre also on asus site). Aside from that just never insert the cd that ships with the motherboard or install the Asus NOS overclocking utility. I thought it might be useful to monitor temperatures but I've since switched to ntune. Just disable the unknown device thatll be listed in device manager and pretend its not even there. Apparently the Asus driver cd that ships with the board auto installs the driver for this device / copys the files to your hard drive without prompting you to do much of anything. I guess you may be able to disable autorun but to be totally honest Im not sure at which point it had installed the driver after inserting the cd. Im pretty surprised that it caused some of the issues it had. My SLI config would randomly uncheck the box to enable SLI on reboot which I had found really odd, and i had intermittent mouse issues where it wouldn't respond. I've read a couple reviews that also had issues and Im starting to wonder if they were having the same problem I was -- its really strange.
I'll be interested to see how far you can get the fsb up on that 805 with this board.

Correct me if i'm wrong (usually am) but in the shot he's running the ram at 2:1 so doesnt that mean its only at 100mhz? I know from experience this board has a problem running the memory at its rated speed. ie. set it to 667mhz and it shows in windows as 166mhz.
How did you get to the 348Mhz on memory of PC4300 and 930D? What PSU?Quote:

Thanks
