Oh well, when im done tomorrow ill finally have finished my rig up with water temp probe and neated up so after "only" 3 months after starting ill be able to post some pics... guess ill have to settle for no flow meter :)
Shame the 50Z doesent have a tacho cable.
I thought about buying a swissflow a couple of months ago but I found it too restrictive to use in a regular system just for flow monitoring. If you use two in parallell wouldn't it be half as restrictive then? Double the cost too though...
But it would be fun to see what flow I get from my dual DDC-Ultras and how much my big rad +storm kills that flow. :)
Hehehe. Ive been thinking of getting 3x DDC Pluses and putting them in series...
you can relatively easyily mod the 50Z to output tacho.. it was designed for it.
check the pro cooling forums for a guide on how to do it.

if you want to get the best hardware right now and dont feel like waiting a while, then just get a MP-05LE or Storm Rev2 for CPU block, and a MP-1 or MCW60 for the gpu.
I've got a storm rev2, just couldnt wait...LOL mind you it aint no good on its own!:( :slap:
The mp-01 is alot cheaper than importing the mcw60, so i may well go for that, but not sure how well they compare to the maze 4!
Guess i will have to wait.

according to some testing the MP-1 is a few C better than the maze4. But it is more restrictive. so its a trade off.
NB: if you're planning to do that mod, you don't need an 18-pin IC, a simple transistor will do just as well. :pQuote:
