This is awesome, Fred! 3880MHz in 32M :slobber::shocked: I wish I had $$$ for a chip like that... :(

Are we gonna see 3900MHz? I sure hope so... :D

Actually, just before this, it was running 16.392s faster than my previous time of 19m18.313s at 17 loops @3.871G. As usual, got an error right after:(

I thought initially this chip had severe cold bug under LN2 so was going to dispose:D Sooo glad I kept it;)
Somehow this M/B likes old CH-5 rather than old BH-5-- may be try once again with SanMax old BH-5.

Hopefully, I can pay my debt to you soon:D

Fred-san... amazing work... you never cease to amaze me. I don't think this record will be beaten by another FX-57. Hontoni omedetou gozaimasu!! (^_^) That epox board is pretty impressive considering all the other 32M guys including myself use DFI.

can you give us a guide on properly tweaking Win2003 server for these runs pls :D

would you find a few more seconds in it with some faster drives...........my benching rig consists of a single IDE drive as well but there are some claims faster drives give better times

Or you can get yourself a nice little PCIe Sata2 HW controller like my Promise Supertrack 8350 - True 3G compliance and the ability to run Raid 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, and 50 :D While it doesn't run circles around the onboard ASICS, it definately is faster:

AFAIK, ARARE, a friend of Cal930/Hideo-Dr. Memory, promoted this one OEMed to Geil.

Actually, am not sure how to properly tweak Win2003 as never touched Registry.
I have posted here for basic rules used be @Team Japan:then adopted now with suggestions from cpulloverclock

I am not sure how much faster drives will improve-- as s7e9h3n said before it is all about how stable your system is-- it is nothing but a system harmony;)

i picked up one of these....should do the trick with a couple of U160 10K drives in raid0........hmmm i've only got one 15K drive....wonder if i should go raid0 10K or single 15K

last night i've tried playing with Win2003 Server.......with tweaked services and RAMdisk without improvement over my XP setup... :confused:

haven't used maxmem nor have i touched registry yet.....wonder if there are any good registry tweaks i can use
