Great 32M !!
Curious about your max screen Bachus. I cannot get this one to make a screen over 3570mhz, but max superpi 1m is 3535. With me other chips max screen is usually about 150-200 mhz higher them max superpi 1m, not on this one though. Could be due to high HTT (board/timings).
I'm curious of what that 146 will do myself... On XS, we have already seen four Opterons doing 32M @ above 3550MHz (coop, Weee, mine and Predator) so it might be interesting to see If the one you sold joins the pack ;)Quote:

Thanks :toast: Well, I can tell you that around 3.62GHz is MAX I've benched this Opty so far. From what I have experienced (trying to bench AiBench as high as possible) I'm getting reboots with "HDD click" as soon as I hit 3.65GHz in Clockgen. I have tried few times, with same result :( After I'm done with SPi I will see If there's anything more I can do with this CPU. But I have a feeling that this CPU would not "ss" at 3.7GHz...Quote:

Yay! Finally something to write home about :) I think this is going to be my last shot at SPi32M for now. I will wait until someone tops this result using non-FX AMD processor. But for now, it looks like this is the best SPi32M on non-FX AMD platform. We'll see for how long, though :lol:

Hehe, I know... :) I rarely use it anyway, only when benching close to 3600MHz... It's just a bit too noisy for everyday operation (air pressure on the condenser fins is making this "whining sound"). Are those fans blowing or sucking? Sucking through is less noise and more effective. Adding a shroud pulls them away and thus creates less noise as well. You can always drop to 7v if needed ;) Still an impressive cooler.
