Wow, fatalities are close to 10%. It's not looking good thus far.
The two bios chips both have identical markings, I have been doing this for a looooong time now and always use all the swithces in dos so is this another Expert fault ???Quote:

Anyone else care to try ????
hmmmm maybe the expert writes something else to the bios chip? on the bios chip you flashed that part is missing and hence the board doesnt boot with it?
Might be the tool in that case.. but every time i've had this issue it was because the chips were different densities and I was trying to flash a 4mb bios image onto a 2mb chip..Quote:

When I wanted to flash (Written with other BIOS chip) for the first time the chip was Erased, but there was a Write Protection Problem :D
When I used all Parameters /cc /cd /cp /sn /py /cks /F of AWDFLASH uder DOS the Chip was correctly written with Expert BIOS 12.07 beta
I'm going to try one more time (already tried 5 times  ) and if it does not work again I will try to RMA the board :(
Maybe buggy chip like in Abits NF7-S sometimes. I was lucky and had no probls with NF7, but many people had - for sure U know that even enter to BIOS was impossible time to time.
Hehe yer I had 4 boards with the Nforce 2 chipset, one of them the NF7-S Ver2, buggy POS though very high performance in their day :)Quote:

My RDX200 went tits up Thursday night, Flashed bios, cleared cmos... and nothing
how did it happen?
shut the board down and then when you wanted to reboot it was dead?
is the cpu ok? and the mem?
were you running oced? what settings?
It was shipped with a dead battery but regardless the board is very good. I am RMA'ing it tommorow and ordered another one overnight :) OCs very well!
2 weeks running this setup, not any problems at all.

Only thing could be older version of AwdFlash. But I believie, that Our Friend uses the One given with BIOS - that means the One that Manufacturer expects U to Use.
Or maybe U're talking about EEPROM Writer?? But He said He want's to do Hot-Flash :)
