does that look similar to those Juliper posted pics?
infineon ICs are easy to indentify thanks to somewhat unique pin1 marking (that dot on the IC).
hynix chip will got charged extra tax in USA that is what i heard
do you know why? any link?Quote:

Korean government illegaly subsidised Hynix, which I think is not allowed by WTO agreements. So, United States put 44% duty on Hynix DRAM imports, to protect domestic industry (mainly Micron). I believe, that would also adhere to any RAM modules based on Hynix ICs that are imported to USA.Quote:

kinda old news, back when various companies were doing bad things (which is part of the reason winbond is no more)Quote:

also, that ram doesn't look like hynix to me.

I'm guessing Hynix as well, but remasked so hard to say!
have owners of this ram run more than 2.7 or 2.8 volts through it. could these sticks take like 3.1v for example without killing them:stick:
I've tried 2.7 - 2.8V on them, but gained nothing.
Hynix is not using for any of our product :)
okay, promos maybe? :)Quote:

Aeneon maybe?
what are the best timings that this module can handle @ DDR400 gus ?
this looks like my Mosel Vitelic that my corsair uses.
No it cant be. I think these are definitely Hynix. I wonder how Gskill is able to ship these into the US without paying the tariff on it. The tariff has been keeping others from using Hynix. I guess if you relable them as your own brand, you can sneak it by Uncle Sam. I bought a pair of these and they perform just like my Kingston parts that are Hynix too.

People may call themself to be lucky if they can pull 250Mhz 2.5-3-3-6 1T out of their 2GB NT. I tested myself some. Average is around 240MHz 2.5-3-3-6 1T.
I also received some 2GB NS (PC3200 2.5-3-3-6) modules with RED heatspreader, same as the 1GB GH winbond ones. Will give it a try soon.
if i say No it is not Hynix then it is not Hynix :)Quote:

looks like micron to me , it does 3-3-3-7 @ 237. DO you think with some overnight memtest #5 will do any good?
