It's depends of cpu. My friend's Newcastle with IHS oc'ed to 2.4GHz 1.6v, after remove ISH @2.5GHz 1.5v  . I try with one a64 - about 70MHz more at same vcore, my another friend got 60MHz extra.Quote:

That's cool. What do you think will it work on mine?Does this earn extra mhz because the capacitors are cooled better?I was able to boot at 3ghz but it got stuck at win:( The PSU had 11.2 on the 12v rail:)).
I think it will work:) . It's give extra mhz, because cooler cooling directly core, IHS "breaking" heat from cpu. Lower temp = more mhz = more fun :banana:Quote:

Ok then I'll have a mobile Sempron :)
P.S:I'm pretty much stuck with that PSU(no money),but I'm working on it.

They have the last 2 letters BX the E6.Removed my IHS(well just changed the thermal 2 as5)I now have a 3 *C drop. Will do some tryout's when I get a new PSU.
The shop I orderd from, had D0 and E6 cpus listed. E3s seem to be very rare.Quote:

Anyone tried Sempron E6 under phase.Do they have coldbug ?
so E6 is deffiently best?
Dunno would try with mine. The IHS is already off.And yes for Semprons the E6 seems to be the best.At Athlon it seems that the E3 is best!Quote:

Running only 2265mhz right now with stock vcore at 34°C load witha roomtemp of 21°C. I somehow have the feeling 2700mhz could be possible with a decent board :/
just checked a local shop. they have E6 2800+ for 89$cdn. will try to pick up 2 soon.

ok, got a E6 2800+ tonight. can only do 340x8 with water and 1.8(possibly lower, never tried). temps stay low. but cant get it high, and dont wanna give more volts. should i keep this one and remove the IHS and see how it goes. or should i get rid of it and try to get a new one? place had only one.
just an update. been able to get it going at 350x8 with about 1.575 vcore. not sure how stable it is, and keep in mind this is on water. gonna see what the stepping are at another local shop and see about picking another one up.
