I'm pretty sure he said "4.5G runs sp2004 only 44 C" on the stock cooler and his SS shows Vcore=1.464. Unless I misunderstood the question. :confused:

Nice temps with stock cooler! You should let it burn-in during a couple of nights to see if it enables you to lower volts.

yep, i've read it.. but it doesn't really concern me, cause i'm waiting for Yonah which in the same article is said to have no such problems :)

If what I heard is correct, Intel has no problems whatsoever with the 65nm transition.

Heard about some rumors of the 9xx chips beeing unstable, but noone knows for sure.

This chip doesn't look unstable, thats for sure. :toast:

the thing is that its only mentioned to be problems with the 920 and 930 specifically. since they all use the same cores, it shouldnt be a core problem, but maybe early packaging problems?

Well, I would start to wonder if the AMD section still get most views per day when the new stuff from Intel pop up in the nests of overclockers. I'll allways be a nomade as long as overclock ability*performance/price is my God.

I know that some review samples had problems on i955X boards, mabye thats the stability issues they're quoting. My guess is that they were using VT samples, which isn't compatible on 955X so that's why it wasent working completly.
