Offcourse :)
Just a quick one because you're online and I don't want to read through all tutorials,
where are the results (the tasks you completed) stored? Is there like a website keeping track of this?

Well, I'm sorry guys, d²ol will keep running on my sisters pc, but my dad complains about it slowing down his pc (yes I tried d²oldaddy or whatever it's called) and it :banana::banana::banana:s my ping up when online gaming, so I'm very sorry
Jochenp,
I would suggest using Rodzillas service installer. I use it on my Opteron rig in my sig and it is my main/gaming rig and I have had no issues with it what so ever.
(IDK if its linked in this thread, if not check the D2OL Stampede thread, its linked on the first post.)
Jochenp, I cant see how it screws up your ping
turn it "offline" and set the cand tasks to 1 after youve downloaded lots (say 2000), that way you only have to post cands (upload) when you need to, Eg your 2000 ran out and you need some more ;) - then the only time you need to download new cands is when youve ran out...
Jochen, use rod's installer and then install helheims watchdog.
I GUARANTEE it will produce AND NOT slow down your comp that way.
I used rod's installer
I'll give it another try, I hope it'll work
nono, after you use the installer install hellheims watchdog programm and uninstall D2OL Daddy.
Sometimes D2OL daddy fails to run as a service. The watchdog program has no such known bugs as it really works A TON :)
What am I supposed to do? I don't understand it
It's prolly a :slapass: :slap: for me ,but help me, I'm going to d²ol anyway:D
that is another service supposed to make sure d2ol is always idle, i guess you can just exit out of the installer from there and then find helheim's extreme watchdog service
I can't read the last line of it, but i'm pretty sure it says "Press enter to continue" or soemthing along those lines. A registery thing will pop up and just click ok on that as well.
Druk op een toets om door te gaan = press a buton to continueQuote:

Nothing happenend when I pressed a button, so u just exited it and used helheims one
Im using d²ol right now, it finished 7 tasks and it's downloading full throttle.
Just a question, when you use folding @ home, the verb is to fold, whats the verb for d²ol? :D
fold, crunch or save kittens
Preferably save kittens. So, do u have any problems left?? To check if hellheim's thing was installed correctly, press alt-ctrl-del and look for D2OL_XWD. (I think).
It's all working, but I havnt checked my ping yet.
I've finished 64 results untill now, 51 where uploaded
http://app.d2ol.com/stats/nodeProfile.jsp?id=######, where ###### is your node and you can SEE YOUR STATS :D
I joined the XS team, I hope I diden't need to complete any registration of some sort on this forum, I prossessed 85 candidates since yesterday
No registration required. :)Quote:

I sure do:D
I just have a problem, my sister and I are on a router, and her pc had d2ol running too now, and she's one of my nodes, she has already made 20 results to upload, they where uploaded but d2ol website keeps saying she hasn't done anything, is this because we have the same ip?
did you register the account under your email you registerd your account with? if so you still need to add it to your account. Go to your account on D2OL.com and press add node, there you'll see nodes you can add/that are registerd on your email
Been there, done that...
I did that even before I let it begin crunching.
Nevermind, it shows em now,
too bad the first 18 tasks my sister crunched didn't register :(
