Oh no sc00p, I'm staying ahead of you even if it kills me :p:
Hmm that's a bold claim... if you buy more hardware, I can't afford anything to keep up...
I've got all the parts I need almost to build a second , dedicated crunching rig.
Just need to get myself a cheap-o display adapter for it ... will be a core2 e6600 that I'm gonna OC to about 3 gHz.
I wasn't challenging you to pass me....I won't be able keep up....
:hm: :para:
That sounds great. Cheapo video adapters FTW, I use a bunch of old PCI or AGP cards (depending on the boards in use). The one cruncher has an ancient 2MB PCI trident piece of crap in it, all it needs to do is display a picture and make the system happy
Keep it up

Registry service editor? I'm sorry I'm not sure what you are referring to.. some trick to get F@H running in vista or something like that?
:welcome:
No need to go by that old guide, Pythagoras should unsticky that and I'll make a new one... the SMP client for multicores is basically self installing these days
I just got back to Germany from Iraq and I am now getting my PS3 and my dual core laptop up for folding while at work. I will have my desktop (see sig) up as well as soon as it makes its way over here.
Excellent! that'll put up some points and it seems like the client for the PS3 is pretty painless to boot ! very cool welcome onboard... :toast:
hi TopherTony welcome, ready to crunch Tom's Hardware? :D
physically or digitally? cuz i'm game for either
I'm folding again btw. This current WU are taking 7hrs to do. I hope I get massive points for them.
There is a linux SMP client as well, it was the first OS to get the SMP actually.
Oh yeah forgot about that. Well, he's got a 64bit CPU, is gentoo 64 bit? I don't know much about linux.
