(I almost bought a 7800GT)
one of these and nf4 or keep my agp 6800gt and get a nf3 s939 board?
By default, it is already 16pipelines(the seller said it was already modded by the distributor) and the default frequency is 499.5/499.5, and the ATItools tests it can be o/c to 615/625 (stock cooling) :D .
O god, i really need to pick one up before they are all gone :stick:
The 3dmark03 :toast:
Do you have a 3DMark run with the card OCed to 600/600? :)Quote:

After trying every damned method of booting from a CD, I gave in, ran to Staples, and bought a cheap floppy drive.
And promptly set it on fire.
Note to self: If you're going to switch molex pins to undervolt the Sanaces on your heater core, make damn sure your origami wiring isn't so dense you can't remember WHICH FRIGGING CONNECTORS ARE FEEDING 5V BACK INTO GROUND.
That's right. Soon as I hit the power switch, I smelled smoke and looked down to see small flames coming out of the power circuitry of the floppy drive. I hit the kill switch and pulled the molex, just in time to burn the #$^# out of my fingers.
Anyway, with a little soldering the floppy drive works again, I've flashed the GTO2, and it's now recognized as an X850-series card. Which leaves only two questions:
1. How will she clock?
2. How "xtreme" can I be if the first piece of hardware I've ever fried is a floppy drive...and it still works?

Eh i won't bother with ocing, just as it oces to X850XT or even X850XT PE i would be extra happy.
Which cooler you guys recommend ????? Zalman or ?
ATI Silencer 5 Rev2 ^^.
Here it is~ :)Quote:

Clocks to 590/615 with ease. There's a little more on the memory, but I think the core is done, even though temps never get over ~38C. It's wierd -- no artifacting, no problems whatsoever, and then at 600MHz the card just shuts down without warning.
Anyway, you still can't beat this for $199. 3DM2003, 16 pipes @ stock = 11,181; @ 590/615 = 14,027.

Very nice card, 630/624 stock cooling (room temp: 25deg C), 7351marks with some artifacts in 3d05 :toast:
