wanna give GCPUID a shot?
Could you create a register dump file with GCPUID (hit F7) and send me a PM with that file, or just paste it all into a [ code][/code] tag and send?

Amazing. This reminds me of $55 Shuttle wonderboard AN35N. Asrock is Asus's budget line which is cool too...I notice they use rubycon jap caps should be pretty long lived too...
have reformated ht 160gb hitachi hdd and reinstalled xp pro the cpu-z still takes some 150 sec to open....although the gcpuid shows up instantly...... gonna install 3dmark 05 and see if it will take forever to open up and stuff like it did last time......
does apic make a difference...cus in cpu-z and gcpuid it says apicid 0 in bios i can only find enable mem something in apic settings....
The CPU ID programs are showing the APIC ID of a processor, basically its of no importance in a single processor system, but in a X2 or a P-D or a real dualie, each CPU has its own APIC ID, so the system can address the CPU it needs.Quote:

I know I have a manchester x2 but how come all the progs I use to tell me info about cpu and mobo and ram all say that my cpu is a toledo except for cpu-2 1.29?
wierd..
Aslo is there any proggies out there that will give actual readings off this mobo?
like voltages or 1t?
i use the latest everest and its saying im running 1t but theres nothing else i can use to confirm this because alof of ppl at ocwb say that this mobo doesnt have support for 1t for x2's
I justr want accurate voltage readings, I use bios and set it to 2450 at 1.325 it freezes some tme but all proggies say i have it at 1.35
but when in bios i set it to 1.35 all proggies say the same thing but no freezes so im guessin the programs arent showing correct values..
I just want 250 1:1 1t with my pretty tight timings until this vcore and vdimm issue can be resolved.
If your chip's CPUID is 20F32 (appears as Ext Fam F Ext Model 23 Stepping 2 usually) means its a Toledo core. Your CPU has half its cache disabled, thus it only has 2x512.
Can't you check with A64 tweaker ? Memcontroller is in CPU so if it does 1T in other board why wouldn't it do in this board ? :stick:Quote:

I would love to have a toledo 3800 doin 2.50 with 1.35
id be happy with it then :)
I know the answer is now but I sure would love to have the extra 512 per core is at all possible..
Edit it sais 2t timing disables so I guess i am at 1t :P
awesome
man I want the xtra 512 per core now :)
No, unfortunatly you can't. Its is simply not possibleQuote:

I dont know if its the cpu or the motherboard but 240httx10 is the highest stable setting i can get with this lbbwe 0532fpbw and asrock mobo.. Even if i lower the multi to 9 or 8 i cant get higher htt..
Tried the 600 and 400 htt setting and even loosened the timings and use the lowest 133mem setting but still didnt get higher..
bios is the 1.20 ver...
how did ya do it? or am i just unlucky like always with my hardware....
Nice to see people rising questions about 1T/2T stability of a socket 939 motherboard, since the memory controller is in the CPU.
cheap board + 400mhz HTT = :D
Those playing with dividers will need the following bios options to scale to higher clock speeds:
Max Async Latency
Read Preamble
Try A64 tweaker to see if you can tweak these settings.
doh just realised there aint a tweaker program to up the clocks in windows, maybe try setting A64 tweaker to apply the settings I spoke abt at startup, some how i dont think this will be quick enuff to help the ovrclk
are you guys able to reach above 300htt? I might think about trying this board
Mine starts getting flakey right around 330HTT.Quote:

Google for em Im sure it wont be a problem to find them..
Can you let me know the setup you had on the uli board? What options did you enable or disable in the bios?Quote:

The highest I have got to was 250 with stock voltage on my 3200+ E6.... I am waiting for bios that supports higher vcore... dont feel like doing the mod.
You have PM.Quote:
