Any word about the 250 max fsb??
htt can go just about as high as you want to go. the problems are;
about half of the boards reset back to default if you set htt to over 270 in bios (clockgen ok tho)
NO RAM will run faster than 200mhz at 1t. now that i think about it, i dont think that ANY RAM will run faster than 200mhz at 2t, either.
there have been no bios updates since the beginning of september, and these issues were not addressed in that update.
there is a large thread dedicated to these boards at
http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=943238
i have a nf41 and a nf43 i got free with my 7800gts. i tried out the nf43, modded it to sli and sata2, had the problems listed above. so if bandwidth is not a big deal to you, or you are using cheap ram, go for the free board. other than the above issues, it ran great and problem free, no booting, bios, ram compatibility, or sata issues at all. has 3 pcie slots, one dedicated 16x, the other 2 dedicated 8x (if you get the sli board or mod the other one), decent layout, power/reset switches on board, diag leds (like epox), decent accessories.
good luck

hey there was just a post on the [H] that said the memory needs to be in the SAME colored slots, unlike what the manual said. He can do 1t timing now, no word about the >250 fsb though.
I am running 280 Htt and my settings stay.
Many others can also do the same or better, but as you stated some cannot.
I am running my ram at 234MHz at 1t.

OC on the Venice 1800 is set at a very mild 267x9 with a 166 divider. Very smoothe game play. The board is doing what it was intended to do. Game. Its just not a bencher.
i have the EVGA NF43, not sure what the Jetway equivilent is, but i can run my ram @ 225mhz 1:1. also when i had my pc4200 this bord would do 290HTT, that i know ;)
like i said, about half the boards will not go above 270htt in bios without resetting to default when you boot. using clockgen, you can boot at 269, and then go as high as you can. but this is the first time i have read about ram running over 200mhz.
