Well unless something funky is going on. here are my PUBLISHED results. Multi's and fsb are listed.
My particular setup does not seem to exhibit the Epox slowdown at higher fsb.
1st one is 210x10.5 -2205mhz - says 2215 on the orb
2nd one is 177x12.5 -2224 mhz

which vga did you use for your little testing? ti4600? clocks/drivers?
Used my 9700p. I dont even know what it's set for, as I never even opened up powerstrip.... prolly stock I would think.

Hey OPP, have you tried adjusting VDD in BIOS at all? If so has it done anything with regard to high FSB or stability? I know you may not be the best person to ask because you're already not limited by FSB, but it would be nice to see if it helps at all.
On NF7 I use:
Max V-core
Chipset 1.7
AGP 1.8
Mem 2.7

OPP, whats the deal with the Radeon. I seem to remember you running over 500mhz core and much higher on the mem than 358. Of course that was on Intel which may make a difference. Is it a different card? If not--why don't you push that Raddy some more? break 22k?

16058 -12.5x177 2224mhz - according to 3dmark

I cannot seem to be able to publish the 220mhz score, maybe there were a few memory errors or something I dunno( I had to try it 3 times to get it to finish 3dmark at 220 5-2-2-2 timings).
I looked at the results, and they are very similar, none of that really high score crap that happens when you see a bogus score- on any of the tests.
If I have to drop it down to 215 and whatever to figure this out where both can actually be published then I will, as I know I can publish at 215.
I wasn't going for maximum overclock/score here guys, I was just trying to make everything the same except the fsb.
You should pick an overall lower speed say 1600mhz, and run tests in 3mhz intervals from 133 -220. That way you can prove 3DMark scales linearly, without using <10x multipliers. I did pretty much that with my 8K3A+ and didn't bother using over 179fsb after that, as it need 200+ just to beat it without wpcredit tweaks.
disclaimer: only had XMS3000 anyway.
I don't really see the point........... to go to 1600 I would have to drop to 10 and set the fsb to 160......... I don't see the point in that really, as I didn't buy this combo to run way down there. As you see in those 2 tests I did 177 and 210 ( I did 220 and 215 also while keeping around same speeds), and everytime it showed ( to ME at least ) that there wasn't a problem.
I will do a few more to see if it tops out as you say it did on your old board, but I have my doubts it will( I said DOUBTS- not saying it won't... ;) ).
I will do 10.5x179 and skip 5 or so in between.

Please forgive me guys if have I come off gruff.. that wasn't my intention at all. I just keep hearing people bash Epox because of this issue, and tbo I knew from my testing b4 this that it didn't crap out.
I have never owned an Epox board b4, so I am not aware of what they did b4 this board, except for what I have read by enthusiasts posting, which btw was pretty much that they give crappy BW the higher you go by slacking off on the timings to make themselves look good.
I see no evidence of that happening up to the tested fsb.
