If anything, it's good and cheap for my first attempt at a phase change setup. That is, in case I should mess something up. ;)

Haha I was planning to use it on my first test run with my new dice container. Would hate to kill the 3200 in my sig :slap: Should be interesting to see how these E6's perform under -0 temps :toast:Quote:

my 3000 hit a wall at 2700mhz using 1:1 300x9 2700mhz 2.5-3-3-8 wich i thought strange cause it did the same 2700mhz it did on phasechange on its box cooler and it didnt seem to make a diff how much voltage i gave it  . all in all deff a great chip for the 120 i paid! but i had to sell it off .. i needed somthing with a bigger multi cause 300x9 wasnt getting it. not when your used to running an FX-53 at 3gigs 24/7....
peace perc,
The 3200 was being cooled by dry ice. Sry no thread on it really, but I'll be sure to document my new endeavors very well here at XS. :)Quote:

That's why I wanted the DFI NF4 you were selling TMF. ;)
That cpu is really one of the nicest I've had the pleasure of playing with. Here's what it did on a stock mach2 before I sold it to Meatfrog:Quote:

Is there something i'm missing here??? My new 3200+ E6 chip dont wana play past 2500-2600 no matter what voltage.. What a tease!
I had up to 2900Mhz memtest stable i thought... ruffly around 1.5-1.6v.
This is my first Venice chip so is there some setting in the bios that needs to be set to get this thing stable?
I've tried some old BH-5 and some TCCD LE ram and same crap!
Oh oh...My e6 chip comes in tomorrow...wish me luckQuote:

Just ordered mine, ships tomorrow probably get it tomorrow too. E6 :)
Damn, I don't like the sound of this. I think Eage just handpicked these chips and happened to get an excellent one? You can get these results too if you handpick enough LBBLE. I think this whole E6 OC superiority crap is going to turn into a big nothing.Quote:

I found out that there was a new revision Venice and ended up posting on ocforums about it, as well as ordering one as soon as I noticed the new stepping.
Mine should be coming by the end of the week. I did ground shipping from ewiz for a total of $126.XX.
I hope it owns my current Venice LBBLE0524 at 303x9 on water.
What date did this new revision come out?
Hopefully someone will take the IHS off their E6 cpu. The die size should confirm if these are failed Manchester X2s or not.
Well my week 26 E6 chip will run so far at 2650Mhz if i change from cas 2.5 to 3.. Strange.. Must be a crappy mem controller. Havent tried farther with the new setting yet.
tried using mem divider?

I thought E4 = manchester, E6 = toledo.Quote:

It was out for delivery at 5AM, it's nearly 1PM....WHERE MY CHIP UPS!!
Correct. If they are failed X2 cores, they would be 1MB cached Toledos.Quote:

just got a pair of LBBWE 0528 CPBW from ewiz (UPS delivered 5 minutes ago)
will start posting results tonight
Here are some pre-results, I just got mine, and booted it up. I tried 300x9 on stock volts, no go, so i tried 290x9, 285x9 works for now. I'm gonna play around with it a bit.
LBBWE 0528 CPBW.

Did anyone else notice that the OP's "e6" chip had a FF0 CPU-id number while evetS-'s chip has a FF2?
according to this the OP does not have a E6 but a E3... While evetS- has an E6...
OP--- :slapass:
But why did OP say the p/n he has is Ada3000daa4bw which is clearly a E6 rev.Quote:
