actualy dude i think your right cause today i was feeling lucky and went for the 2400 mhz to test it and discovered that i can boot into windows and surf and chat and use windows just fine infact temps are great i do have to use 1.75 volts but hey thats still not bad one thing i did notice i thought was wierd was that anything over 1.8v it wont boot? ive read about this but didnt think anything about it until i got mine and gave it try.. anyway back to my story i had it in 2400 mhz mode for a couple of hours and decided to try 3dmark and as soon as it ran the first car case test it went into the second and bamm right back into window!! now i tried relaxing the memory and alot of differnt things with no lick thats how i found out about the 1.8v and above being a no go.. well i suspect this is a memory issue maybe even a psu ise as well so until i get a better psu and a stick of memory im going to just have to be happy with 2300 mhz wich isnt bad cause my xp2600 well only do 2400 mhz and i suspect it may do more when i fix the psu and memory problems atleast i hope so i was hopeing to get 2400 plus out of the xp1700 and atleast 26/2800 out of the xp2600 so like i say i might just be asking for too much but i still think this xp1700 has alot left in it? i mean temps are low voltage is low cpu runs great.... oh well ill just have to keep up the tinkering and try and figure it out cause im not ready to call it quits yet!
later guys perc.

can you post your

2300Mhz @ 1.7 Vcore, was stepping in 0.05v instead of 0.025v.
http://security.cclcomputers.co.uk/acatalog/cpu_amd.htm
Bought it after hearing that the place sold this stepping.

This took 2.075v. Tested playing UT2K3 botmatch, watertemp idle 22'c / CPU idle 32'c / CPU botmatch 36'C.
Haven't tried 3dmark just yet, to see if I can beat my old score with 2400Mhz xp2400+, I doubt it since the ambient temps have risen therefore the 9700pro won't climb as high.
I still have 0.125v more vCore to play with so this may not be the absolute ceiling. Its still a very round number. 2.5Ghz! 63% overclock.
Really nice overclock! So the drama continues! Looks like the JIUHB madness isn't over yet, and in fact DLT3C seems to be the magic voltage. The date is interesting 0312SPMW. Somebody criticized me because I beleived two people juxtiposed their codes, and had questioned it. Low and behold it's SPMW, not SMPW.
EDIT: Never mind, by bad sorry. There's all sorts of different codes.
saaya, I just ordered a JIUHB 1700DUT3C 0307. Do you think I should keep this or for a $1 more have hem change it to JIUHB 1700DLT3C 0302? I haven't been able to find many posted results for week 0302? Mabye you've read something about either of these? I have untill Monday morning to change order.Quote:

is a 1.7 DLT3C ok? or do you want to see only 2.4 to 2.8 scores?
if it's ok then here I go:

Welcome to the Xtreme Apocalipsis, really nice overclock! Your at 2400MHz with 1.85V, depending on your cooling, that chip could really soar.
EDIT: what am I saying, your already over 900MHz, you are soaring.
Here's my little baby at only 1.75Vcore, 29C and on my Soltek SL-75FRN2-L with C1 stepping, and VDD adjust to 1.8V (currently at deafult 1.6V) 13x185FSB.
Could you post the entire sticker code of the chip? Please :)Quote:

Thought I'd add my system right now, have ordered new cooling and RAM, will add the upgraded system later on:
XP 1700+ (AXDA1700DUT3C, JIUHB0302WPMW)
2*TwinMOS PC3200 Cas2.5 256mb (non-winbond, sucks)
ASUS A7N8X Deluxe rev1.04 bios 1004
Volcano7 (not +version, sucks) & AS3
running @ 175*2 (crappy FSB) - 2104Mhz
I used to run it @ 12.5*175 but I can't get the Volcano to stay completely flat on the CPU-die, thus giving me errors in Prime95 fast.
New components ordered:
Alpha 8045 block + pabst 80mm-fan, trying low-noise solution first, if not satisfactory going for a 50CFM-minimum pushing fan.
Corsair TWINX512 CMX3200LL - 2*256Mb matched pair
That SHOULD give me a little more room to play around in. If not, I'll change the mobo for the Abit NF-7 2.0 or something like that.
my 1700+ on a Abit NF7 1.2:

Skynet would you be willing to post your entire sticker's code, I'm still compiling data about the overclockability of TBred. Thank you.

hey SKYNET 2800mhz, I can only say WoW.
Really nice overclock there.
Thnak for posting those codea and congrats!!! :)
mine seems to be getting better with age i can run 2.5+ now @ 1.85vcore but thats at 194 fsb the ati no like and to lazy to change multi again hehe so im a 2.444 1.8vcore 13x188.
To all the DUT3C owner, did you burn you chip in? Cause my chip won't go over 2.3GHz@2V i can boot into windows at 2.4 but it crashes even with 2.2V. I can boot @2.5GHz but i can't load windows
Switching to watercooling, now the same chip overclocks to 2510mhz at 1.95v totally rock solid.
CPU: 1700

Skynet thats amazing!!! you HAVE to get a prom or lend it to a friend with a prommie to see what it can do with phase change!
that could be a 3.2ghz+ stable chip !!!
