I see em $399. I think i paid 335 from newegg. Lets hope that new stuff will be as good or better. Still waiting on any comment from OCZ about the cas 2.5 2x1024 ddr500 stuff. Is that still in the works?
cmon ocz chime in on your new memory were all very interested!!
________
Prilosec lawsuits
In the next few months there will be a ton of 1gig sticks available capable of high FSB. Tight timmings may take longer :(
With DDR being on the way out, not sure what kind of resources manufatures are going to devote to developing new chips though.
Lookin nice :) Got 4x PC4000VX right now but thinkin of sellin it and gettin the 2GB of Ballistix...and these results are making me want to do that even more :D
Depending on the OC you have... your results might be just as good if not better than ours. Your downside is having to run 2T. Ours is 8-3-3-3.... I bet your sticks run just as well as ours.
is the average OC on these tracer's 3-3-3-8 260+?
I'm still in the very early testing stages of mine, but they hit the ceiling of my Winnie's mem controller (it sucks though, ~256MHz.) I'll try them on an iced out 4000+ SD when the new ati-driven DFI board hits retail.

Between 260-275mhz. I think the average is more like 270. I can bench superpi at 275mhz on mine. But they start flaking out in games due to the extra heat from the vid card in the case. I have to run mine day to day at 270mhz with 2.6v. Not bad ;)Quote:

tracers are MIA atm.
i have a week before i place any orders so hopefully i can see how these batches turn out.
Oh. I guess that's why my crucial ballstix 1 gig sticks are stable at DDR430 2-2-2 and DDR480 at 2.5-2-2. Right.Quote:

thanks for responding.
1. it is a newer version. but as you can see it is the same spec.
2. no tracer series with LED in pc4000. tracer series pushed up to DDR2.
they are not making pc4000 ballistix tracer with LED beyond the size of
512mb (1gb kit) and that too when they are gone, they are gone, being older
version. means they are not making 2gb kit tracer series with LED. however
they are making it in DDR2.
So I guess if you have tracers and have to rma them they will send you non tracers heh.
? He was simply stating that HIS sticks won't do 2-2-2. Yours are obviously/probably different chips ;)Quote:
