Jeez duonger maybe I am taking that wrong but seems like a cheap shot against OCZ. Not very good form.
Cheap shot? Naw, just healthy competition.... :banana:Quote:

You should let your products speak for you. A representative for a company is that companies voice. He should act like it at all times. I am not picking on Duonger either as I would have said that to any companies mouthpiece. Just let the products speak for themselves. I mean the redline really speaks for itself.
Edit: Also sorry Duonger if I did take it the wrong way.
Edit2: From Duonger's comments can we take that to mean that this memory is Mushkin? I am seriously interested in this stuff. Have been looking for good 2 gig kits for a very long time now.
It's good that companies are developing decent 2GB kits of RAM. 1GB is starting to be not enough...
its cheaper to get a 2x1gb set and run lax timings with 1t then expensive redline and you need two dual channel sets of that and performance between the two is real closeQuote:

This is even more of important when using 4 modules I beleive
So best bet I guess is to test every module individually and place them accordingly, just try to test them at 2T timing like the will be with 4 sticks,1T sometimes differs slightly on settings to get stable.
My Crucial Ballistix PC4000 is pretty much the same. At 2.8v it would do 3,3,3,8 @ 250MHz on my DFI UT NF3 250GB. On my DFI NF3 Ultra-D they'll do 3,4,3,8 @ 250MHz with 2.7v. Any more voltage on this NF3 Ultra D and they become unstable :(Quote:

Indeed he was lucky...in the past week I've come realize that while 260 3-3-3-8 is 3DMark and SPI <4M stable, not even 250 3-4-4-8 at any voltage is memtest or SPI 32M stable, so I'm RMAing, hope I get back some gems, or even ones like nugzo's.Quote:

Keep in mind he's using an FX. They have superior memory controllers.;)Quote:

I wonder how much they'll be.
Sweet!! I'll be making a 2x1GB purchase soon so I'm anxious to see how these scale. Anyone know if these use the same chips as the Ballistix 1GB modules do?Quote:

I havent seen 2x1024 tracer even running at its rated 3-4-4-8. No matter what it defaults to 3-3-3-8, even at 285+. OCZ will your new 2x1024 do that? Any chance of gettin 2.5 out of em? What IC's are the OCZ's using?
Has anyone seen the guy with 1.5-2-2 with his G.Skill and Mushkin Redline working together at 250 mhz and 3.5V?? =)
I thought the A64 didn't support CAS 1.5 ...Quote:

Could an OCZ representative clarify some questions about this memory..?Quote:

When will this memory be available for purchase?
What will be the suggested retail price?
Lastly, is the memory being touted in this thread with 2.5-3-3-8 timings and OCZ5002048ELGE-K the same product?
Thanks..
