I just got the same processor, im at 2.6 (290x9) at 1.47, however it isnt prime stable.

Maybe itll do better when i move it to my water setup.

Finally found my problem, the board will not go above 290 HTT :mad: BUT :) after tweaking I am more than happy with my final 24/7 settings

2.8Gig rock solid (will post screenie later) at only 1.502 ~ 1.520 (damn VTT fluctuation, only when using 1.425 + 10 in bios, will tweak to fix) and benchable @ just under 2.9Gig :banana:

Nice one alphaone, mine does 290x9 @ 1.5, 8 hours prime stable. But im goin to push it somemore and hurry up and finish my water setup so i can maybe squeeze some more out of it.

Hey you got a screenshot of your settings in A64Tweaker? It seems really odd to me that you can't get over 290 HTT. I had trouble myself at different HTT speeds but most of the problems came from max asynch/ read preamble and dram response time settings.

If you would be happy with an overclock around 2.7-2.9 @1.5v-1.6v with the stock cooler then u should get it.

Im happy with mine. just wish it would be prime stable at 300x9. It runs spi 32m over and over with no problems, but gets errors in prime after 5 min running small ffts

I just purchased a 0520DPMW. I'm really hoping for a good chip. It looks like about half of the week 20's are pretty good clockers and don't seem to need alot of vcore to reach 2.7 to 2.8 and above. This will be my third try with the venice. After this I'll hold out for the 3800+ dual core!!

Oh yea, I'll update on my results in a few days when it arrives.

with that I have at this moment (0519) I obtain 2600@1.4v (Windows) and 2800@1.6v (Windows).

My 520 dpmw hits 2.6 at 1.45v prime stable for 8 hours. But at 2.7 ive been throwing 1.55 at it and it doesnt run prime for more than 5 min, but it will run spi 32m all day long. It boots into windows just fine at 2.7 1.475 but its not prime stable. Im sure i could probably hit 2.8-2.9 with 1.6v or less, just not prime stable on stock hs.

My memory is capabel of runing 300htt but when in memtest at anything over 9x290(2.6) i get errors running tests 5 and 8. So im sure those are cpu related and not memory.

This is all with the stock heatsink will 2 120mm's blowing on it.

Hopefully water will get me to 2.7.

I have the hope that better cooling can help a little because this Venus 7+ does not seem to help much. :nono:

Thats some sick silicon u got there eage! I´v got week 19 DPCW 3000+ which does 2700MHz@1,5Vcore on air. I think it will do 2,8GHz wit water and some more juice.

All I know, is forget stepping this new venice has to be better than my crappy winchester lol! Looking foward to sharing my own 3200+ results nextweek.

my 3000+ sucks, its a week 20, not sure of what sub stepping it is or those 4 letters I mean.

I get 2.25ghz @ stock voltage and its hell from there and up.
I need around 1.65v to even get 2.55ghz kinda stable =(

I dont know what else it could be...Im keeping my ram under 200mhz and my htt @ 3x, my board wont boot at 2x =(

I think I just have a crappy 3000+ venice Im gonna try and buy another one at frys tonight see if I have more luck with it, if I do then its for sure a crappy chip that I have now.
