from what I have read and seen on my own NF7 it looks like there is something really flacky about the multipliers. What FSB were you using and at what multipliers. I may be wrong but it looks to me that if you use the low bit multipliers then a FSB of 200+ is no problem. When you change to high bit to maximize the CPU's mhz's then you are lucky to get 188 FSB without trashing your OS.

You know this is just another example of why we should really re-define the meaning of stable overclock. Maybe we can't label an o/c stable until it holds for a certain period of time. It just seems that at so far out of spec for a period of time, sooner or later something generally gives out. But, it is nice while it lasts.

I've ran 200+ by 9, 11, 11.5. I need to do the vcore mod and get some better ram but i havent have any probs with trashing the OS.

But i have noticed something bout 3dmarks, I'll grab a pic and post it in a min.

Well i never did the at7 stock and its dead now, but heres a stock nf2(on top) and a stock kx7.

Yes its dual channel. I have no clue whats up with the nature, bump mapping and pixel shader. Im 100% sure i used them same settings also.

Im looking into some new RAM but im stuck. Corsair or Kingston?!?!

Lovely guys looks like a top notch board :)

Does it have RAID IDE ports as well as the SerialATA ports??

I tend to agree higher core and ram voltage would be lovely even if it means having to use an overvolt jumper protection :)

Is it the icky orange coloured PCB?? Also whats the NB HSF like on these boards??

do you use multiplier under 10???
if yes you loose 150mb's with multiplier under 10 in sandra membench with the epox

@200fsb sync dual channel with 2422 timings on my epox i get:

with 9,5 multiplier 2954 mb's
with 10 multiplier 3106 mb's !!!

@210fsb sync dual channel with 2422 timings and 10 multiplier
i get 3270 mb's

so 10 mhz more sync my sandra mem score increases minimum 150mb's, @226mhz sync you should get 3450mb's!!!

I am reluctant to post anything yet, but my friend Aceman and I have come up with a solution that appears to solve the high FSB problem most people seem to be having with the NF7-S. We have now gotten my XP2700 to successfully run stable (prime, sandra, 3dmark, etc...) at 220+ sync FSB, where as before it would suffer the exact same problems everyone here is mentioning when trying to run high FSB on these chips. Again, I really want to do some more testing to be sure we have it figured out - I have several CPUs and two NF7-S boards to try. I just noticed many people not happy with the high FSB problem :D, so I figured I would mention that we were able to fix mine before everyone RMAs their boards :). We plan to bench on Thursday and Friday, so hopefully I can post our solution then once I completely verify it.

I personally do not think there is a Via offering as of now that will compare to the NF2 boards........ I've been saying that for awhile now.
Whether it be the 8RDA+ or the new Abit...... with the right cooling it will lead the AMD @ the orb.
