The Stilt, you are just plain crazy. I love it. Congrats.

Do you know how much this particular cpu would run under singlestage phasecooling? I was just wondering how much more LN2 gave you?

Alrite, all u need to get 6.66ghz is 370fsb with an 18x multiplier. I think that would be the goal for u to shoot for.

Using PCI cards in Super Pi shots, helps take alot of stress off the PSU, incase it's needed elsewhere, expecially with the amount of power modern videocards require.

when going for max clocks, the videocard is the weakest link.
take it out, and it definatly helps.

so when you getting more LN2??

4.55GHz with stock cooling & 1.42V
5.4GHz with R404 modded Mach2 (with lower ambient temp).
Atleast 5.6GHz with dry ice (didn´t try the limits)
And with LN2 about 6.6GHz (probably even more)

Great, thanks a lot :) And those speeds were also superpi 1M stable then? I only ask out of curiosity as my 660 on Mach II GT seems to max out at ~5.35 Ghz for superpi 1M and about 5.5 Ghz for max cpuz screenshot, and just minutes before I saw your crazy results in this thread I was talking to my friend Pejsen about doing some crazy LN2 stuff with my system with his chilly1 containers :D

So not only do you make some awesome benchmarks, you also have great timing :toast:

The videocard drivers eat some cpu cycles as well.

I once had benched some cpu intensive calculations using a Voodoo3 PCI card (installed Windows with it), then put an ATI in with the drivers, and with the same clocks, could not get anywhere close to the previous performance.

And of course, congratulations to The Stilt on the monstrous overclock and performance :D

I didn't think any mobo currently on the market where able to run @ 6.6Ghz. Asus really did a great job this time i seems. :D

Four stage cpu power cirquit really did miracles compared to those three stagers (like P5P800). With P5P800 this cpu probably wouldn´t have reached even 5.7GHz benchable.

I´m using OCZ PowerStream 520W psu.

Well that's is really nicely done but I have one suggestion.

I don't think 3:4 divider helps with superpi, I think 1:1 3-2-2-* might be faster. Maybe you can try that first with a lower cpu speed to see if it helps any.

Get some more LN2, try what I suggest and go for the record :banana:
