heh that's me then. I don't want to go PCI-E, since i quite like my 6800, and i know that r520 will be released on AGP. Therefore, this means as you say, i can get new mobo, cpu and hs, coming in all to about £300 or less, hopefully. Then in a year or twos time when AGP support is stopped, i can keep the 939 chip/hsf, and get a new pci-e gpu and mobo, again coming to no more than £300. Works perfectly from where i'm standing, and as long as these are reasonably cheap (say less than £80) then i'll have one.

What's the ETA on this thing? If it's as good an overclocker as the dfi nf4, I'm definitely interested. What's been causing the delay of this board, I believe I've seen this picture before somewhere, last year at some convention.

hope they come out soon ! i have to much money invested in my 6800's to go NF4 ! and now i have a Winchester 3000+ sitting here with no mobo. if the bord is good i'll put this uber Venice in it, and then finally see how far it will go. i'm presently suck at 290HTT :( then the winnie can go in the Neo2 ;) ya thats the plan ...

If the Grouper board comes out with a "9800Pro" class onboard graphics, this board is useless.

Sell your current AGP board and your gfx, buy the grouper, use onboard gfx untill you can afford a PCI-E gfx card. Done deal! :D

I mailed DFI last week, they answered that they start production of the MB this week (they said "next" week last week so . . .).

I really want to get rid of my NEO2..... the vdimm is only up to 2.85V which is definitely not enough for my 2 pairs of BH-5 512MB :rolleyes: :slapass:

I doubt i'll grab one over my Neo since there are rumours that there will be new Neo2 bioses that support more timings (Prob just Trc and Trfc though). But i doubt they will allow more then 10% Over VID :(

I guess its time for a vcore volt mod or i'll live without the extra timings (my ram survives with the 166 divider pretty well, though they would be handy).

I would only buy the DFI if it was cheap, and i highly doubt that its going to be that..

But hey, if crunch comes to crunch this is probably the board to get!

it is listed as 160 canadian on NCIX if i'm not mistaken.. so when it reaches here shouldn't be much more expensive.. TMM = T M ? :)

Yeah the T_M (or tim) is the one that frequents i4memory and OCAU, not this one.

I swear babyelf, you're watching like EVERY forum's NF3 Ultra-D thread looking for new info. Like me :D With A_G getting it next week hopefully, we'll see some results in the not too distant future.

Oh, and also TMM, the only vCore mod for the Neo2 that I know of is kyocen's one, which involves trace cutting. Good fun. There may be others by now, but I haven't looked up vMods for this board since its release.

If this board is even under AU$250, i'll be happy :P However i'm willing to settle for less.

You do realise that you can go up to about 1.85-1.9v without even modding the board? You can do it through Corecenter and with a modded BIOS. Simple :)
