is anybody using a 3500 oem venice from newegg? the 3500's seem to be all pretty good, the 3200 oems are hit and miss. prices monarch/newegg are the same, but dont know about the batch, week, etc. thanx.

#42, you say your ram is limiting you, just take it out the equation and run a divider. Not saying you should do this 24/7(still dont see why not) but it would help to isolate your ram.
Meatfrog, air cooled at over 1.7v :shock: Do you run that 24/7? Also curious about your temps at load. I have the xp-90 too, and if I run at 1.45 + 113% (shows about 1.62 in bios) my load temps go to 48-49. I will have my venice tomorrow to start testing. Can they take more voltage than the winnies?

Yes the venice chips run much cooler than the winnies. At this voltage I don't see much over 50-51 during superpi 32MB. This is with my case door on. I think these chips lose stability around 56 but I could be wrong.Quote:

The EPEW sucks, mine wouldnt prime past 2.6 ish.
NCIX 3000+ Venices SUCK A$$. Best ones do 2.7 GHz @ 1.7V. 2/3 chips. 1 chip doesn't do 2.7 at whatever volts. POS's.
