Well i dont know if its cause of this bios, but it sure appeared with it.
Now everything i boot the pc in the morning, i get a blue screen at the end of loading windows (when i click on my user)
I have to go in the bios, NOT CHANGE A THING, save it, and reboot, and its fine.
Im using 3.1V with the 4v jumper disabled.
wanted to try 414-3...load the default optimal setting then flashed it with the floppy and get checksum error, have a second motherboard laying around and swapped the motherboard, switched to a different floppy disk, download another copy of 414-3 and flashed this bios on the 2nd motherboard....baaaammm, same sh*t again!! so I got two dead mobo now...F*CK! what's in this 414-3 bios yo?? :mad:
My brother is going to stop by my house in couple minutes and will bring his rig along with, will try to hotflash and see if I can get them up again.....this 414-3 is killer, it must not like my rig! uuurrgghhhh!!
I had the same problem with 414-1. Back up now with 310. :D Now i have two backup chips i need to hot flash.
which of them bios`s would i need for my dfi nf4 ultra d to use with my 3800 venice and 2 x 1gb sticks of ballistix?
Vlad...where did you get your backup chips from? looks like I'm going to get either the Bios Savior, or buy atleast 3 chips just incase this sort of crap happen again, luckily we were able to hotflashed them and get them up now, I'm going to load into windows and use winflash to burn the damn 414-3 again, if it sucker punch me again....oh well, 3rd time a charm right? :DQuote:

no need to hotflash, just take out the ram and put in a different stick of cheap PC2700~3200 or whatever you got, run it in single channel mode, reset cmos, configure everything, take out cheap ram, put original stuff back and you're done.Quote:

I tried Bios 414-2. My comp didn't boot up (Blank screen) It seemed my comp could not detect my graphic card. So, I changed the graphic card to another card. Fortunately, it boot up but failed to load into window. So I reflash the bios back to 310 (official). So I can do DDR500 at 3.5v @2-2-2-2. May be will try 414-1 or 414-3. (It was a scary experience. I thought my mobo is 'gone').
