Can you guys keep the core up high, with the mem at 650+ on stock cooling?
With my X800XT-PE, it was always a trade off. I had to walk a line between really high mem, or good mem and high core. I have my X850XT-PE and DFI sitting here...but PC Power has my PSU right now :( Seeing all of this makes me anxious to get it back.
wow do you think itll work with 9700s and 9800s? can anyone test it out?
Wow, you and Mr.roadster getting big gains  :cool:Quote:

Héhé ;) i'm happy to help you Pc-Ice :toast:
It would be the hell if we could save our magics timings , anybody know a good Bioseditor ?
tried it on X800XT-pe, and it works too, only no gain in performance :

so, it works, but lowers performance.

Hi,
I just changed mu Ram TRP from 5 to 6 and got from 607mhz to 660mhz benchable.
This is to hot.
What can I get more if I change trcdrd to 8?
Anymore more memory tweaks??

PC ICE, can you do a run at 635mhz stock/tight timings, and 685mhz with the 2 looser timings? Just Nature 2K1 would be fine. I'd like to see if your ~50mhz mem gain was offset by the higher timings. Thanks :)
And please post back ASAP with cascade results :D
so........ bottom line, is the x800xt Pci-express FASTER than the x850xtPE?????
will this work on a vivo flashed X800 pro to XT AGP?
I'll try it on 3D01 too, maybe I get a better result.Quote:

Man... I just installed watercooling and anything above 600Mhz on the core will cause ATItool to lose its temperature readouts.
Also, my X850XT PE, even with ramsinks, can't seem to get at 590 Mhz stable, and I say many of you going above 600Mhz easily with the memory? My brand is a Connect3d X850XT PE. I tried tweaking the memory options to PC ICe's, but I still get artifacts when testing in ATItool.... any suggestions... or do I need a vddq and vmem mod.
RMA it.
it's OEM
no problem here with AM3 :
725/705 !!!
This benchmark hate high Vgpu.
1.6v max here.

Odd... with a WInchester at 2700Mhz with memory running 1:1, I only get 30K with clocks of 600/600.... shouldn't I at least get around 32K?
No, there is a huge difference with 3Dm01 between 1MoL2/512MoL2 , it's normal.
there is about 300Mhz difference.
I'm getting the same results (30.7k) with my 3000+ winnie at 2655. Card clocked at 600/630, stock cooler.Quote:

Looks like your scores are low.
Yeah they are a lot less than 1mb chips at Drago Low (don't think they are too bad at Drago High), but they make up for it elsewhere. Unrealneo reckons that a s939 Winny is comparable to a s754 Claw when both are tweaked....
Changing drivers and swapping to 2*512MB Corsair BH5 got me a nice boost.
Should do a clean install though, as I had a 6800GT before that, just uninstalled the nvidia drivers and installed the Cat's.
Corsairs ran at 248Mhz, 3.2V, card at 600/620

lol, i am having the same problem. i thought it was me going crazy from staying up so late overclocking, so i went to bed...Quote:

With an fx55 youd need even less MHz cause of dual channel. Not to say winnies are bad, they are very good and their higher overclocks make up for it, plus Venice will come and those will crush claws due to sheer MHz. You could always opt for a San Diago and probably should if you have a $500 gpu, a $400-500 cpu wouldnt be out of the question ;)
