Man i dont see why people are so excited about SLI if ya cant even find any 6800U PCI-E cards out there! The demand will only rise even more in the coming weeks.. I'd hate to be waitin to find 2 of these cards just to run my new computer upgrade! hehe.
You could always buy a couple of 6800GT's (and OC them), quite a few in stock here in the uk. You could even just try and find one 6800U and then buy a 2nd one later perhaps? ;) You dont need to buy two at once to run a pc upgrade imo.Quote:

I think about 499 usd, so you're pretty close on the estimate. :)Quote:

Don't know about benches, but for games 2x6600GT's suck because they are slower than one 6800GT.
I think i saw a review where the 2x6600 SLIs where juuust a bit under a 1x6800GT (PCIe)Quote:

Totally agreed, but just think of the ppl (like me) who can't spend > $400 (GT) or > $500 (Ultra) a card ;)Quote:

And If u buy 1 6800GT now and 1 in about 5 months, u're not sure it'll work because of new revisions.
Btw the 6600GT's are better in high resolution, but the 6800GT is better in lower resolutions indeed :p:

It's a temporary situation, though with the 6800GT's being overpriced.

It's the other way around according to Anand. Got some benchmarks to show me? AFAIK 6800GT with AA/AF @ 1600x1200 is faster than 2x6600GT's by a visible margin.
Oops I only watched the image without AA/AFQuote:

And the 6800GT's aren't available here in Belgium and also if they were I shouldn't be able to spend it ( I'm only 14, no work yet  and parents who're saying it's too expensive :stick: )
