I'll be picking up a K8N Neo2 Platinum and a 3000+ on Friday or Saturday. I'm interested to check out this BIOS as well.
So, is anyone tweaking with this BIOS yet and notice anything worthwhile? Or does it just help out with the low overclocking issues?

Well.. some improves there, now is doing pi 4mb at 340 FSB, with the 137B I couldn't do it at more than 320 (still asyncronous of course).

anyway, what's so special about it? waiting for my new cpu to arrive within the next days, so i can't test the bios right away.

Err... my initial assumption might not be correct on this to fix cold boot issue. Just trying diff bios out and found out same temp behaviors still exists... so there might not have been any code change in that part.Quote:

Well flashed the bios, first i was disappointed as i got the same results using any bios.
Well i was suspecting the following prior to using this bios:
1) Compability issue with Neo2 and XL Pros
2) Dud Dimm 2 (as using dimms 3&4 was much better)
3) Dud Neo2 full stop
I know my XL Pros are good as i ram memtest86+ at 250Mhz, 32 passes test 1-7 and 250 passes test #5.
Using dimms 1&2, HTT240*4HT CPU10x 1.55vcore 2.85vdimm 2.5-3-3-10 1T
First i tried Super_pi 32M calculation and nothing
Tried dropping HTT to 230, still problems.
I was about to give up and then i remembered that dimm 2 might be a dud.
Using dimms 3&4, HTT240*4HT CPU10x 1.55vcore 2.85vdimm 2.5-3-3-10 1T
Was able to run Super_pi 32M calculation and priming right now!
So the bios seemed to fix few things for me, as i never could complete 32M calculation in super_pi using dimms 3&4 or 1&2.
Well im not happy that dimm 2 seems a dud so im thinking of rma this board and getting a new Neo2 as with this bios it seems that there isnt a problem with Neo2 and XL Pros.
Im going to prime for a good 12 hrs and hopefully i havent spoken too soon but im my experience if i can pass super_pi 32M calculation then it should be alright.
Appears to have helped stability at high htt....

Before anything over 315 htt caused random lockups...
Now it appears pretty stable upto 335x9 ;)
It also seems to have helped running memory with the 150mhz divider, as that wasnt stable at all before....
