I am not going out to diss the AN8 Fatality (I think it's a great addition to the non-SLI crowd), but it seems to me that the hardcore crowd, at the present, is waiting for the SLI, not for flashy fans, "intergrated" mosfet coolers and stuff like that.

Alot of people unlike you dont want to pay twice for a vid card to have bragging rights meanwhile at quake con ill be playing on a single pci x16 slot getting higher frames in some games then you get with your um cool looking rig. Plus ill have an extra 400 for snacks at quakecon and no I'm not sharing.

SLi is also known to have a frame stutter or a slight lag. A frame stutter or slight vid lag with the fps players i play against = teh fragged.

In answer to the comment on the fans being noisy. Smaller fans do tend to be noisier than lets say a 120 mm. Another factor to take in is the rpm of the fan. Abit has accounted for this and the fans are controlled via system load with the program they offer with the board. Thus gaming is prolly gonna be a little noisier. So will benchmarks. Will they scream like a delta, I highly doubt that. Headphones while gaming work to block out noise and turning sound up a tad more also helps. As for the comment on the reason they use an external sound card ill quote abit.

Can't agree more. I've tried SLI and gave up with high fluctuation of FPS. Max FPS is cool to have but low FPS ranging below what I consider normal is major turn off unfortunately. For benching though, it is amazing.
BTW, stop teasing and show us what options on voltage there are :)

man they package that in a nice box. if i had the money for 2 rigs that could be all-out benching rigs and not just one be an internet rig, i'd definitely get that abit mobo.

abit is high charging $200+ for a non-sli board. thier rep has'nt been exactly *HOT* to warrant this.

Chew I only have two fans (120mm) in my whole system and that includes my modded PSU. They are at 5V too. so 5 fans this board comes with is definity unwelcome no matter how low they throttle.
