When i want to impress on my other nerd friends, i use to quote gf4ti4200 and they will all join me in a good ol´ laughter.
Ontopic now, i like that 3ghz with only a ls, hopefully even i will be able to reach 3ghz with my -28 vapochill... if theyll ever show up in the cold north...

please post here kev :)
crap , my c0 3000+ wont do anything higher then 2270 ... had another one once that did 2310 .
thats some bad luck
nope, 3000 - 3500+ are the only ones to see the light of day in 2004, i believe. 3800 - (possibly 4400+) in 2005.Quote:

that "roadmap" you have posted there is a POS! seriously! some months ago it was showing the next gen a64 cpus as having a 250mhz fsb with DDR500...
and even now its already outdated AGAIN!!!!
it shows the 4000+ as a 2.6ghz chip  its a 2.4ghz chip with 1mb L2 cache... ;)
and thats the highest rated amd chip we will have for some months afaik ,to answer your question ocmyface :)
GAH! those roadmaps based on pure specualtions pss me off
you'll notice it also has the 4000+ in the 2.4ghz/1mb box... you make it sound like it JUST has the 4000+ in the incorrect spot...
since the roadmaps on amd.com are nothing more then what core is used for what... and the price map, which doesnt even differentiate between the different kinds of the same pr rating... this IS the best one out there...
It also says October this year, whereas the one Saaya was looking at is for sometime 2005Quote:
