odd, but i havnt tried to burn a CD or run sata drives. it is silly that vcore starts at 1.55 and mine overvolts also to 1.6 according to bios, but reads spot on if you go by USDM. hopefully i'll have some respectfull numbers after the vdimm/vcore mod. at current im stuck at 240x11 1:1 3-2-2-10 or 257x10 3-3-2-10, i think this board has a big vreg bug maby. and i know why they changed the bios to +.05~+.2 is because thats how it works aparently lmao, my buddie with the winchester didnt have more than 1.61 with his board with a 1.4v chip but he's got it working i think and it should get faster in a couple a days.
I'll give that bios a shot, see what it does if anything.
OPB, your not that far from me relativly speaking. About a 4 hour drive as im just on the other side of the Pa/ohio border. if i get some time off working these psycotic hours in the next couple a weeks might be able to take a drive out there with the vmodded epos.

np, we'll see how the work schedule goes and if i get a break i'll shoot ya a pm see if we can get something worked out. I want to try some of that ddr320 memory anyway :stick: :D since this board will run that htt at the very least stable enough for 3dmark/superpi ect. its virtualy 100% at 300htt.
I honestly dont think they changed anything of any importance with that beta bios. still stuck at 240x11 1:1. i still get the .05vcore jump under load and still get the .1vdimm undervolt with fastest set in bios. Anyone that wants to try it tho forget the magic bios POS, just go into the epox/magicbios folder and run winflash after you download the bios.

Mongoose THX Got 64 to load :-) Cannot get sound to work though :( Anyone know of a driver for the Realtek 850 that will work with 64? At least 64 does not have that Damn Teletubbie Background to start Otherwise same plain Jane xp. :stick:

i took a quick look for ya but didnt see them, i know there in there somewhere as its the same sound as on my a8v and i was running amd64 for a few days so they do exist for the alc850
Also dont try the ddr booster with this board.
