grr my mobo died, ill have to break the 9500pro record with A64 and not 2600m, if i got 18.5k, and the record is 18.8k, and a64 giving me a bunch more points i think ill have it already :D

anyone know how many points roughly an A64 would get me, comin from a 2.65ghz barton?

That's a great program and i just love my 2x256 A-DATA DDR400 (a-data chips)! Before i was running 2-3-2-8...3-3-5-3-2-2-3 @ 255Mhz! Now i changed to 2-3-2-8...0-0-3-3-0-0-3 @ 255Mhz!

But your a-data chips are bh-5 or not?
Have you try some benchmark(maybe Sandra)? Which is the gap between the two alpha timing setting in final score?

They are a-data chips but they work just like ch-5!
Maybe a-data just put their name on top.

hey SAE, just ran across this thread. have u tried 5-6-4-3-3-4-5? these timings seem to work pretty good for me. j/w if maybe u tried that but 0-3-3-1-0-3 ended up working better.

and srry if u have already said so, but what are your agp cont latency, agp bus latency, and pci latency set to?

Now i will test with 3dmark to measure the gap in this test.

Yes ;)
I've try also with your setting (always @3200+ 11X200), but I belive that they are good to go up with FSB with "no problem", instead, SAE setting are maxed...with them I have best score and higher FSB!

As soon as possible I will try at 11X250 (I will do the same tests), after I will try @11X260 or higher (unfortunately, my Barton is locked, and my mobo isn't modded, yesterday i've flash bios with hellfire rev3 and today I will install morpheus remix driver...so I hope to go up 11X262 / 11X264, that now is my clock limit :( )... only after I will post, now FSB is too low ;)

For me, it seems, 0-0-3-3-0-0-2 is max speed, but not to consider stable :D

Your timings are slower, but may work well for gaming. I use 4-4-5-4-3-3-4 for gaming :)

AGP C. Lat. 128 (for gaming)/255 (benching), AGP B. L. 32 (default), PCI L 128.

@Remixes: :thumbsup: You've got a nice boost with my max timings, hehe. Try the ones above in addition to the 9-2-2-2-2.0-7-12 :D

Today I've tested @11X250 and over....the clock limit is always at 260, so I'm sure that is for the too low vddr (3,26)...
SAE for 3dMark which alpha timing do you set?

I have not been doing any 3dmark for some weeks now as my 9800XT is still on RMA :(

Try to use the fastest timings as possible. For 100% stability you of course had to slow down the alphas a bit (gaming again ;) ).

I optimize my bios the way I am used to... and what's best with my hardware. In my experiences every DFI board acts differently. So there's no definite how-to to tell ya. You have to find the settings that work best for yourself, as I don't know your board personally ;)

my PCI L is at 32 (default). does bumping it up pose a possible threat to my mobo/hardware?

Hmm. I doubt it.

I always use 128 because of sound issues. My Audigy gets the same latency and everything's fine up to 260. Everything higher has no chance to last longer than 5minutes ;)

Just today I've done 3418pts at 3dmark05 always with whql driver (with omega driver i've done 3666pts), and 23648 at 3dmark01 :)

I've used this alpha timing:
1-3-3-3-3-3-4 :banana4:

A7n8X-X mobo revision 2.

got Twinmoss Mtec chips with Brainpower PCB

what can I change and what do you people advice me?
