still very respectable for plain water, 5ghz stable would be extraordinary with any cooling  the 783mhz bh-5 in your sig is with 5v?
no, but it was in asynch mode, read againQuote:

so 368mhz sync and 391 async?
i knew that a64s can do weird things to memory at low multis, but that would be insane.... :D plus you really need b4lls to bump the vdimm to 5v on an a64 :D
overclockers.co.uk of courseQuote:

With overclockers.co.uk the processors are in OEMQuote:

I've got almost the same CPU. (L421A1... ; 3.4E D0)
Currently it's doing this
(4.38GHz prime with 1.44V) in a Vapo LS.
Unfortunately I can't got higher at the moment. Guess I'll have to do a vdimm mod again as booster alone doesn't help upping FSB.
I had the mobo up to 294FSB Pi stable before so I don't think thats my problem.
wouldn't it be strange if the CPU did 4.37GHz at 1.44V prime stable and can't do a superpi 1m run with 4.56 and 1.6V ???
your cpu is from malay?Quote:

is strange, I can with my 3200E D0 under vapocil LS a 32mega superpii at 4.478.
So I think you wrong something....
i use a droop modded p4c800e, mosfet cooling with alu heatsinks and a lot of fans ;)
removed the vdimm mod as i thougt it's not needed any more with the booster.
isn't the "L" indicating Malay? i will check next time when i see the heatspreader.
with droop mod it was no problem hitting 280FSB very stable with ocz eb 5:4. maybe redoing it will help.
and now i hit a wall at about 4.55GHz. do you think the cpu might be at it's end althoug it is prime stable at almos 4.4ghz with 1.44V ???
i'd like to do a superPi 1m run with at least 4.7ghz but it doesn't look like this will happen
try to set the ram 2:3 (to be sure is not ram or vdimm problem)to see how far the processor can go.
