Yup mine said at first 0 but it was an old CPU-Z heh.. Same here A1.. Though i havent ever takin off the chipset block to see since i dont feel like making a pernament mod to the board.

WOW Man, that's awesome!! How did you further lower your multi to x7 since BIOS only gives you x8? Did you use ClockGen to do that? What's the MaxMem Speed set in your BIOS, 166Mhz? I could only get up to 315HTT using x8 multi.Quote:

3v on mem with 1 gig lv2 3500 running @htt4x, 2530mhz (230x11),and 5-2-2-2 cmd1 w/s-ata raid. This is stable as ever for 3-4hrs straight utk4. This is just what I needed for gaming. I'm happy :)
I used clockgen to get to 7 multi and 340 and im pretty sure that is with 133 divider on ram. I was just trying to see how far I could get fsb to go before it started crappin out.
Hey kingpin.. What settings for the cpu ect. did you boot up with? Cause i've got the 7th mult to work once before the other day using CG but now it just locks everytime i select it and i cant remember what i used to get it.
I cant change multi with clockgen either. It locks. Are we suppose to select enable multiplier in bios?Quote:

hmmmmm.. Maybe we all dont want to try the 7th mult!
Sorry i must of hit the AGP slidder by mistake cause that 85Mhz is wrong i hope heh.
Now when you least expect it, theres no PCI lock with the 7th mult!
And i was wondering why it would lock up on me when i went to apply the changes to the HTT!
I could'nt change the mult to 7 unless i changed HTT to x2 form 3.. Plus i booted in at a mult of 8.
Well now after that post i changed the mult back to 8 and guess what.. The PCI still scaled with the HTT.. So i guess this is why i could never get the HTT x2 working before.. And i'd usually couldnt post the system if i did change it.. but thats prob cause i had the system runing a HTT of 250-300 which the PCI buss would be 52-62Mzh... heheh YIKES!! OUCH!
Ok now this is not freakin funny! I just booted back into windows with the HTT at 3x and same crap with the damn PCI bus. I'll report back when i figure this out.. Using the 5-5 bios.. The ones that shpiped with the board.. Maybe something get messed up falshing from the 7-9 back to 5-5 or something.
Ok now its back to normal.. I dont know which setting changed enabled the locks but i changed the FSB to 201 from 200 and put the AGP from 66 to 67.
I've never experianced this before.
on nforce3 150 PCI locks only kept when u booted at 201 or higher, mebe thats what happend
Yeah thats what it was.. the 67 didnt make a difference on the AGP.. it was the 201 that locked it up.. I guess i never noticed it before cause i was always booting up at over 200FSB.
I have a rev 0.3 from epox :p: 8kda3+
Strang to me I have a rev a2 chip on this mobo?
Should not newer rev's have the higher numbers?

What worked for me was I set fsb to 201, agp to 67, and httX to 3x. As far as multipliers in the bios, I left that at auto.
Funny thing is, that 4xhtt worked all the way up till about 246fsb, then I had to switch to 3x and rode that setting all the way till 340 where it crapped out.
When I used 7 dvider via clockgen, I was also using 100 divider on ram. Without volt mod, ram couldnt go any farther without dropping ram div. Prolly because I was running the ram @ 5-2-2-2-cmd1. With slacker timings im sure higher dividers could be used.
is anybody using nvidia sata with a raid 0 array? What is the highest HTT you can get?
I'm using it, and about 250-260HTT the system restarts. Can that be the reason?
-------
I have a prommie, and i can't get temps readings bellow 0, is there any program i could use to see my temps?
Thanks a lot :)
Mine restarts around 250-260 also. I'm not using SATA tho. Wish I knew how to attain 300+ HTT ;)Quote:

Well, i have done some tests and it goes like this:
320HTTx8(2560MHz) and memory@1:2 with HTx3 = system ok
at 265HTTx9(2385MHz) mem's@5:6 HTx3 = system reboots
running with my mem's@1:1 (233HTTx10) = system ok
Conclusion: none:D...........it looks like when i hit high HTTs and if my memory is running higher then 215-220MHz my system fails :(
heh looks like the CG chips are getting those higher HTT.. The highest i could get my C0 is around 320Htt.
I wish i could figure out what the max is gona be but my crap is cooking itself too much even on water cooling @1.8v.. It idles around 27-40 and hits 50-51 under load. This damn Heatspreader seems to be preventing my CPU from making contact wiht the waterblock other then the edges. :(
heh anyone ever remove the HeatSpreader off a AMD64? Its gona be like either that or give it a lapping.
Are you using DIMM slots 3and2? One is the worst for me.Quote:

I'm using the one next to the cpu, i think is the first.Quote:

1 dimm of 512MB
I'm running Sata raid 0 with the NV raid controller. It's getting me about 66 Mb/s. Haven't tried the high HTT's yet...
Also do not see the point of just hitting high HTT speeds, since what still matters most is the memspeed and running sync has given me the best results yet.
The LDT bus also has a multi, so why run HTT upto 350. My mem won't do 350 and running 350 x 3 or 250 x 4 doesn't make that big of a difference and in the end it's the memspeed that counts, not the HTT speed ;)
I've done some testing with the mem banks too, and using banks 2 and 3 without using bank 1 won't work for me. My system then will hang during boot with a bootcode I can't remember anymore.
Other problems I had with the board I traced back to the onboard memcontroller today. I've tried another proc and had no problem hitting somewhere near 240 (prime crash) - 245 (sys crash) with 3.0V on the mem.
Guess my proc didn't like the memvoltages it had in the past (upto 3.6V :D). So it's time to upgrade to a CG for me :D
I don't want to run at HTT350, i want to run htt at 277 my mem's at 233 with my cpu at 2511Mhz (x9), it's better then HTT 251 mem's@209 and cpu at 2509MHz, got it;)
Edit: beside that, i was thinking of buying some PC4200 memory so i could easily hit high oc with 1:1 ratio :)
the highest I can get my HTT to run is 315 x 8 with mem running @ 252. That's a 6:5 divider. I have a 3400+ C0 chip. I will try using CG to lower my multi to x7 and raise HTT higher.
