70.57 seconds
PIV 2.66@3.12, 390DDR
Got a load of results, just need these XP2600+'s out :D
I wonder if the large FSB of the P4 aids it so much or whether it is mainly the 512KB cache, or maybe both?
If it's the cache then Barton should help AMD , in the meantime it will be interesting to see if the nforce 2 in a couple of weeks with it's 10% better memory controller knocks a bit off.
Then of course will Hyperthreading help the P4 ?

It is mainly the pure speed that helps the P4 in the Pifast bench. Very CPU aimed benchmark.
I agree. :D
But another thing that helps is a Prometeia....

Which I have ordered & waiting for as we speak. :D
I just went water and Vmoded my test rig.
She's now stable @ 1941 (204X9.5) JOY! Putting my 1600+ @ 77.81 seconds :)
Updated for ya :)
Hay this is a fun test :D
Just ran it for the very first time with a 2.8Gigger clocked to 3730MHz (w/ P4T533-C mobo) and got a result of 56.78 :)
Looks like RDRAM is a bit faster than DDR on this particular test.
Also ran SuperPi at 3740MHz and got a result of 40seconds.
PiFast ver. 3.3 1M was 25.03 at 3740MHz.
Will upload some pics once I finish this benching session... ;)
Well done on top spot.Quote:

j/k very nice work there m8, those RDRAM boards are still pretty nice! Still I gotto tell you its pretty frustrating to work with a f*cking aircooled celeron at 2.8G and a dead cooling system :(
no idea yett what i have done :)
but here is a print screen
Hmm
That score is far too low for the spec in your sig.
PiLsY.
yess i did know
but check my sign now :(
waiting for the new abit max2 rev2
the epox is to mister prometeia-li (versteeg)
Ok so much for that little 'OC session' :P
no new 3dmark scores thanks to POS Corsair 3500 module <- it couldn't even beat my old sammy 2700 =)
Well anyways here is the PiFast challenge screenshot:
PIC
And some Sammy2700 stuff over here:
PIC <- I'm gonna install some extra cooling on that thing lets see if it can hit 250MHz :D
hmmm... I couldnt get the IT7-MAX2 to overclock past 228-230 mem with Corsair 3200/3500 , but on the old IT7 (red box) it does go to about 240 2/7/2/3. Maybe the board just likes the Samsung better rather than the Corsair being bad m8...
Well you are added as #1 macci, hardly surprising to see though :p
Here's a new one for the AMD folks...

64.84secs
Yup.
Added to the tables a VERY impressive time!
<bump>
Figure with all the new equipment that's been popping up, there should be some improvements in the times.
Well there hasn't been many new times submitted recently, hopefully this should get em going. :D
I've just got my Corsair memory so I'll be improving on my 96 .00 score.
Jeff, I am getting closer to your Ati Rage 128 Pro score of 2900 ...
Hopefullym tonight will be the night :slobber:
Regards
Andy
<50secs .. isnt bad for a PIV
