Does the CH-5 get a boost mhz wise if you push the volts like BH chips does? Couse I have had my board stable at 230 before and now with my new CH-5 that does 219 11-2-3-2 with 2.8v it wont be stable at 220 with upto 3v! My question is if I up the voltage, will there be any mhz boost so that I might be able to do 230 with say 3.1-3.2v? The mems are CL2 rated KHX PC3500.
yea.. on my abit nf7-s rev2.0 week 0308 i have a set of 2x512 mush 3500 ch5 that owns my 2x512 khx3200 nona pretty hard.Quote:

this stinking khx    :banana:s won't run on this nf7s, i can barely run 200-6-2-2-2 with it at 3.06v (11-2-2-2 works as well). anything above and prime (lot'o mem test) tells me to shove it. my mush will do 220-11-2-2-2 at that voltages. runs 230-11-2-2-2 but starts screwing up then - needs more volts.
with the khx3200 i can run sandra up to 230-11-2-2-2 at 3.06v, but it won't run even 1 minute of prime with those settings. - i got 3 sticks of khx3200/512 - non of those will run on this nf7-s at anything beyond 200. i got a single stick of 3200/256 khx that'll do pretty good.. and 2 sticks of mush 3500 lvl2 bh5 that will go as far as 240 (sandra stable) with said voltage.
what about the rumour of mush ch5 having a voltage limit (fuse or stuff)? if it doesn't have one, i'll vdimm mod my board and see how far i can get them - at least the spreaders on all my ram has good contact.. they get quite warm :)
