While my cpu was, is down I moded my mounting system. I now get 100% contact :D I will post some picks of what I came up with here in a new thread shortly as soon as I get my dig cam back from my Mom
It's a wonder I didn't burn up the cpu long ago. I never had contact this good with any cpu mount and my promi.

Damn after listening to these stories I want a 3400+ DTR now. I orginally had a 3000+ Retail that did 2.68ghz/1.85vcore on air, then I tried removed IHS and cut one of the IC's :rolleyes: . Then I got my replacement 3000+ Retail that wont go past 2.5ghz :brick: . What kind of clocks do you think I could see with a 3400+, 1.85vcore, and excellent watercooling? Really looking forward to see what kind of differences there are with 1Meg of cache. Also arent the 3400+ DTR's CG stepping?
