The lucky bastard has a XPMW cpu... man. A XPMW Mobile barton, that should do 2.9Ghz on water.... with a bit of luck ;) You can imagine what it whould do on a triple cascade!Quote:

maybe i can get 3ghz with my waterchiller (2x55W+6x30W=280W tec power:D)
the DFI boards ive looked at dont have MB holes..unless its that colourful one....and im not paying a extra £20 for yellow PCI slots :(
can't wait to see :)Quote:

:( 2.08V is higest what I can run stable. I tryed to do 2.3V mod, but it didn't work?Quote:

If you can get 2700 on air ... simple phase might top 3 gig.
I'm betting on OPP's cascade(and skill !) to pull 3.1-2 out of it.
I hope my modded mach1 will get me up there too, but i'd be happy with a good 2.8 :)
Both Infinity and LanParty B have mounting holes.Quote:

Which ones you looking at?
if you're looking at pics on DFI's website or CPUCity, if you look very closely, there ARE mounting holes.Quote:

bottom one here...?
yes thats it. it has holes.. i have 3 of them. they do have holes.
I have the exact same stepping as OPPAINTERS CPU . Mine is batch 0038 though .
With my relative noobness I have it priming @ 245x11 with 1.95-2.0v Vcore on my LP B with a stock vapo PE .
I can crank it up to 2800mhz within windows , but it wont run a bench at that speed .
I am so hoping prime does not crash :)
It sure beats my old NF7-S which could never run high fsb/vcore and high CPU clock all at once .
Cheers
@ opp
May I ask why you are going to oc an XP again while we have such nice things like A64 and P4EE ? :)

Oh, missed this, thx.
Got the mobo today,
It says NFII ULTRA Infinity on the Box.
OPP
Thats a Rev A (only one of Infinitys). Should be very good to you. Ive ran 3d at 260fsb.
ok, sorry again for jumping in on someone elses thread, but would a old (i mean OLD first rev) Swiftech MCW462-B fit this board? might use my TEC's again :)
Aye, good stuff OPP. :)
12-10 BIOS will be your friend. Allows high FSB and very fast per clock on BH-5 (and I know you have some).
Cant wait to see the numbers this setup will make, Barton's havent seen the mega-OC light since March last year.
Good luck with the infinity, OPP :)
I hope you can get it going high fsb and high vcore together. I have to wait till I get a LP B as an exchange for my 3rd dead (crappy) infinity :(
With 268x11 it locked up due to the heavy load on components  I only have a locked barton 2500+ being not extraordinary at all. Considering to try a new mobile now too :)
And with your extreme XT, cooling and clocks it should be easy for you to break 25 if not even 26k ;)
You have tryed the new voltmod? The old one gave me only 2.1V... The new one can give me 2.3V and more..Quote:
