You tease :p
Not really, IMC caps at 2800 so there will be just different variations of that lol. Loosening to 11-14-14 or 12-14-14 does nothing and cold just give a few mhz so there is nothing more I can do with this chip. 2800 is still pretty sweet though :)
Give them to Hookie, he'll show you 3000 Zack :)
But I can feel your pain , one CPU topping at crappy 2600Mhz, other one similar to yours just over 2800...
Good kit, i can hit 2900++ on air with XE4 board.

2800 1T CL11 13 13 4dimm is working well on new Asrock mobo now .
I have the 2600 kit, clocks about similar to these other ones. I don't think imc likes more than 2800 though, maybe just a tad over.

Both are looking great Nick & Mike!
Thanks for posting the info! :)
How much higher can you go for a validation?
Got a 2800 kit

Quick run @ 3000

Nice Dumo. Have you tested a variety of chips yet? How much of a difference are you seeing in IMC?
Nice work Dumo!
Ok cool I figured you had a few heh. Please report how the IMCs are, there arent enough results out there yet to have an idea of what to expect on average. My chip maxes @ 2800ish but Ive seen some others (like yours) at 3000+.
It'll be fun try to find high imc retail 3770K...on top of finding 6.5Ghz+ cold chip:D
Retail 3570K my best DDR3 Overclock with TridentX 2666mhz Kit on ASUS MVG. DDR3133.

not air i hope :D
+1. What voltages were you pushing? My sticks won't quite make it to 3000 on air.
1.832v vcore? why?
Saw 23 on 1 of 3 retail 3570K's tonight.
So based on the below serial numbers, are these 2x the same IC's ?
240 is hynix
260 is hynix im guessing...
360 is samsung...
It's Hynix I guess.
You can tell without yanking the heatspreader by looking at the bottom of the chip.
