NB - Good luck with your new chip and board. I am thinking of getting my gas changed just see how far this chip really will go. So far I can run 3dmark at 260 with a stock mach2.
Stilt, report back what you get with 404.

ok well im convinced. where did you guys score the chip from?
Mines a newegger
and yours does 4.3? man if only i could get my hands on one of those. then i would be happy...yeah, happy.
what kind of cooling you got on that oc rookie?
i threw one of these under my mach II today. set the multi to 5:4 and let her rip had it up to 270fsb, but it was really unstable. 260-265fsb seems to be about the max i can get stable. still testing :D
Yyaaaaayyyy.... :banana:Quote:

I've got a 3.4C
L343B192
01/14/2004
3900MHz ok with prime95 for the moment, stock cooling and stock voltage
I'll test it with my modded vapochill PE
-50°C
3925MHz ok with 1.5v always in air
damn people. do you guys realize that some of you are running at 4.5Ghz! hell thats almost the fastest CPU on the planet. if i had one that did 260 under my Vapochill, i think i would pass out.
someone needs to post some screenies. i need proof before i go spend 4 bills. i would really enjoy a 4.Ghz CPU right about now.
Amen!Quote:

Sounds like Intel really have gotten their high speed NW chips to run like crasy... I've got myself a 3.0C L350**** next to me, but I'm missing a PSU to try it out.
First test with unmodded P4C800-E DLX and r404 prommy mach2:
4200MHz (248x17) 1.55V (1.52V) goes windows like champ, but even slightest load will boot it, cause of terrible droop.
4250MHz (250x17) 1.575V SPI 1M, Sandra etc light stuff stable.
Didnt test further, cause its time for droop mod-
Temps are -38.5C immediately after load. Prommy evaporator goes -61c (calibrated by macci, after r404 mod).
I´ll post some benches after droop mod is done. Then well see whats it made off :D
Here's Sandra at 252. After 4.3ghz sandra, wcpuid, and pcmarks are useless.
Jeezzezs guys..!!!!!!!!!!... you are giving me a hardon with all thoose numbers. :toast: :toast: :toast:
Looks like I woont be using prescott for a while... :D
I can see 4.7GHz,

cpulloverclock: What voltage/temps..did you used/get when benching at 4.6 ...???
cpulloverclock - How in the world do you get sandra to work? Is there a registry change needed to recognize the higher speeds?
By the way, you're frickin sick in the head!!!! Nice overclock!!!
this thread rox.
p!mpin shiz.
maybe ill stop saving for a prescott and start saving for one of these :D
ill wait till a bunch of reviews cum out first of both :toast: :toast: :stick:

That is one sweet overclock.
do you find that clockgen allows you to overclock higher because of BIOS limitation?
