MX518 ..or its successor G300 (or 400 , i forgot :p:)
Whatever mouse that has the shortest, most positive, sharpest L/R buttons.
I'm done buying expensive mice. They are all crap. Every mouse has the same "pinch" type mechanism to secure the wire which leads to failure.
The only thing I dislike more than wires is batteries. No wireless for me, not even phone!
my g5 died so I replaced it with a Xai. Much fun!
Im still amused that people spend more then $20 on a mouse. I buy $7 mice and I game all over people with them!! hehe, seriously!
I just bought 3 mice at a garage sale. They are logitec sealed boxes and I got them for $3 each. For less than $10 I am pretty much gauronteed to not have to buy another mouse for at least 2-4 years. The guy had about 15 of them and I should have bought them all and put them on ebay!
G500. Had a roccat kone before this but it broke within a month so stopped using it. Thinking of picking up the new steelseries sensei soon though.
Logitech G3. Works like a charm. Simplicity plus accuracy.
Well i went out tonight to get my G9x and came home with a Razer Imperator instead. My first Razer mouse ever, G9 just didn't feel right for some reason. Too short or something and my hands aren't big at all, average i would say...
After a day of using Razer, I no longer miss my G5 in any shape or form. This mouse smokes it in every way...
I just get too used to whatever current mouse I'm using and hate changing lol.
Takes a lot to get me to want to try a new mouse. (like the old one is now discontinued and I can't find one anywhere :P )
I remember using a Logitech Wing-Man ball-mouse for years because I had gotten a deal on a bulk case of them and kept about 8 for myself haha.. loved that thing. Analog ball was pretty accurate if you had a good one and tweaked up the ps2 report rate.
I used a Logitech G350 i think that's what it was called for about 6 years. It was a great mouse it still works i just replaced it when it started clicking too loud. Now im using an Alienware TactX mouse got it for dirt cheap i like it as well been about 1 1/2 year.
My new mouse finally arrived in the post. 4 days late from amazon

I like it, I have it's CPI set so it's just right for me and the matte coat on it is far better then my old Razer Habu's smooth glossy ness.
man if the Habu was your 1st impression with razer products then no wonder you dont like them. That mouse was on the shelves for about 3 months and it was discontinued. I had it too and it was crap. I got the death adder and it was like night and day. I have only used death adder's since. I'm on my 3rd one. I just got the black edition. For keyboards I'm on the razer black widow ultimate. I have the ultimate at home and the regular black widow at work. I use a 1/4 in. padded steel series cloth mat.
logitech mx518 rev2
logitech g5
logitech g5 and the deathadder but i lean more towards the da
I use to use a Logitech mx518 and loved it. I've got a DeathAdder 3.5g infared now and I will always buy razer from now on.
I use a Sharkoon Fireglider @ 1600DPI setting, comfy rubber grips, very accurate. Took a bit of getting used to its larger size though.
Mamba for me. Have had it over a year and it has been flawless. Fits my hand perfect. The battery will easily go more than a full day. I really have nothing bad to say about it.
I normally use my trackpad, but when I play the Assassins Creed games I'm forced to use my logitech mouse =( the trackpad is just too slow. I'm thinking about getting a Mighty Mouse from Apple for Adobe Illustrator and InDesign. The only mouse I can make myself recomend to others is this Razor... it's a little too big for my hands, but it's the best mouse I've ever used in my life, and it's so precise <3333
I use the Logitech G700 with the Mionix mouse pad, I couldn't be happier. I have big hands so the G700 accommodates my hand extremely well. Great for gaming, never had any problems.
Logitech G700 looks scary O.o I've always preferred mouse track or a small mouse and keyboard. My fingers hurt when I work with big mice and big keyboards, specially those where you have to push really hard on the buttons.... and I sometimes break my nails and it makes me so frustrated that I cry =(
First ill state the best mice i ever used: Logitech dual optical. Was the best becouse the 2 optics worked togeter and determined the movement many times to be "naturally" more precise.
For example, if i wanted to make a sudden stop in a fast move, the mice would cancel the "very small" move to the back while trying to make a hard stop.
unfortunatelly no more companies have developed something like that.
With time i had to move to lighter mices: Logitech optical mini (great for starcraft (broodwar, not starcraft 2)). Was great for finger movement.
Now using Logitech G3 (have 1 extra in case mine dies one day), and Razer Orochi For my laptop (not really what i expected but decent enought).
Id like to have a optical mini but with a laser sensor. I tried to Adapt a laser sensor to the mini optical, but the plastic that bounces the signal is inefficient.
Also used Laser Trustmaster. Very good for relaxed use, big for the hand but not heavy so easy to move. I cant tell you the model since i dont remmber the name (dont have it either) and its discontinued.
For pads i use 2: Allsop Huge texture and rockat Taito.
I love texture since it absorbs sweat, where metal does not. Also it has a harder grip on the mice so i can have high sensitivity :D
I do miss metal pads and my Table for speed however.
