but i need to get back on a real schedule. last couple weeks i've been up til 4-5 wake up at 11-12 in time to go to work at 1pm.
i enjoyed sleeping at 12-1 waking up at 8-9 and having hours instead of hour before work.
somehow gotta get back to it, and you know what.. Xtremesystems ain't helpin!! :D

It's aluminum, and it looks like it has some nice heatsinkage on it.
Steel doesnt have the grained look like aluminum does.
Something about an external fan on a PSU rubs me the wrong way.:sick:
I'd like to see the insides of both of those 650 watters.
external fan just means more room inside for components

Now that i look at it, i though those were pots they are plug ins for the cords above!!! WTF!!!!!!! WHY!!!!!!
Those plugs above clearly plug into it. Dont know why. but then i lost my AC adapter for a DSL router i needed the other day sold the wireless one's i was using and hooked up and old one.
Had to go to radio shack to buy a 5v ac adaptor, Guess this supply would've came in handy!!!
Still cant figure whey you would need these. Power your Scanner and stuff off of it 12v??

Just got the first one. Small review here tonight, gotta take the wife out for dinner?? :mad: just kidding on the mad.
Out of the box on my scale it weighs 5lbs, 11 oz by comparison my true 550 weights 4lbs 4 oz. 2.2lbs is a lb. 16oz in a lbs.
Also there is a Single SATA power connector on this one. nickel plated. You can almost see yourself it it.
Monstor Heatsinks inside just by looking through the fans. Same as my other fortrons.

Ok here we go here was my problem with my TTGI @ 4.2ghz, 3.3 v dropped like a brick. My antec 550 held the 3.3v @ 3.15, but my 12v on the antec was @ 11.4v.
This was powering my vapo, MCW-50t and the computer. IC7 Voltmodded. My Kingston 3500 BH's will do 262 1:1 2-2-2-6 @ 3.55v. But i have to run 2 supplies to do it. TTGI running the vapo and pelt and a fortron 350 adjusted to 3.6v on the 3.3 for the MB.

This is the TTGI 550, only the 12v and the 5v are adjustable no 3.3V adjustments like on the 520 TTGI GRRR, but i like the 4 fans on it and it cools the hell out of the case. But notice the low 3.3v.
That wont let me get my memory where i want. Anyone want to tell me why they didnt put a pot for the 3.3 on this one but every other TTGI???

Next here is the fortron 530 watt, no adjustments yet, straight out the box. 4.2ghz, 3.3v is just about in spec along with the 12v and 5v. This is with the 80 watt tec pulling also along with the Vapo!!!!

Havnt rebooted to up my Vmod, but i will
Adjusted everything where i like it no problems. If you buy this supply only warning is. The adjust pots are sensitive. 3.3v will go over 4v. I turned the 12v a little fast and My HW doctor alarm showed, I moved out the way to show 14.3v!!! and 5v is just as touchy and i ran it to 7v.
Be back on a reboot for some Some bliss after turning the memory up.
The TTGI and ANTEC i have are great supplies. My 550 is running my duallie amd rig 1700+'s @ 2400mhz each. The volts are strong on it, no problems. And i've tested my TTGI in others. Once i get above 4ghz on both with the memory really pushed. that's when they stumble. Both would still be great supplies if they could be adjusted. My antec doesnt have the signal wire return to do the mod on it??
But enjoy!!! Rock steady also no swings on the volts, only thing really moving is the Northbride fan speed, If i didnt know any better i'd think the computer was locked up!!!! That's how steady the power is on this fortron.
