Bios is NDA still, as is board last I heard at least till an official launch, when that is I have no idea.

Thx.
2 x GTX460 in Hydra N Mode, impressively good scaling comparable to the nVidia's official SLI.

PS: 1090T x6 at Idle/Load/Turbo@800-4x/3700-18.5x/4000-20x MHz
I was told 20/09/10 via email which is today over here.
A quick test is run on air cooling.

Guess that's probably cos NDAs always expire 'earlier' this part of the world. :D
PS: Anyone tried out 3 x GTX460 cards in N Mode since Hydra is bridgeless? Too bad I have only 2 cards with me.
Think you can also use slot 1 too. I have tried running the 2 x GTX460 in N Mode using slots 2/4 and slots 1/4 configs with similar benchmark results. Just wondering how well 3 x GTX460 cards can scale esp. when this model is restricted to just 2 card SLI with its single SLI connector.
A few minutes ago I got an email from ASUS Germany. It's available now, no more words about nda.
So chew*, please show your results. :)
Retailers need to open the pages up I have an itch to spend!
namegt: whau, with 1.4V at 4260 MHz boot? Its look good, test pls max Cinebench R10/r11.5 at this air. Nice videos, u have a bit louder cooler, but looks me, what cooler is it?:) Thx.
USA NDA was waiting for something, I can post now but I am wait on the something, it will be worth the wait :)
Board has come along way since way back when, as you may have seen from pictures on the net it changed a couple times.

This is the final rev board that the guys above are posting with which I really have not slammed on to hard for visually obvious reasons.

I should have a full retail board tommorow so I would rather show results with that :)
Maybe I will toss this on the bench just for a little fun, don't think I can slam it at 4gig + though so I will post functionality stuff with sli.
Chew I still like the old heatsink versus what it is now. But when do you think I will be able to put this baby on my Credit card. I have a new retention bracket for my TRUE on its way with Arcticlean as well. I also had to order a new DVD drive because my old one is IDE and I ordered ASUS. Just want to buy this thing already, I have waited so long.
OK rewind back in time to my testing on ch4F with the hack for 3way sli.

Now its not quite apples to apples but If you would like to take my word for it sucking in timings to 7-7-6 at same speed is not worth 1500 points, that said it looks like lucid scales far better than a hacked driver.

Moving along lets see if the trend continues as we clock the cpu up with no concern for the motherboards PWM apparently on my part.
Hacked 3way sli on ch4 forumla.

Lucid 3 way on c4e keep in mind I am not using physics to boost my scores here.

Edit 2 more.
Preety sure I am severely cpu bottlenecked at these GPU speeds.

*Disclaimer* PHYSICS is on
Only for fun, is this the kind of CPU score we will see with bulldozer?

Like other AMD Asus board, that C4E is also very good for memory oc, Here i can get 2200 CL9 stable with 8Go of G.Skill Trident 12800 CL7 :)
More pictures of that Crosshair IV Extreme on PCWorld France
Salope Thomas :p
Nice board:D
Doesn't really look like the final retail box revision of the mobo though, mine doesn't hava the extra black SATA connector next to the BIOS chips.

Not many web reviews so far since the official launch, strange.
yes, nice board, good for 3D benchmakrs think. Now (next days) we will see Chews* WRs at it :-D
The official pdf manual is finally out on the Asus ftp server, all interested parties can go grab it.

I can try that on a retail variant if you like demon, Unfortunately that chipset cooler on LUCID chip in this pic prevents me from using slot 1. Config was 2/4/5
