I nearly forgot to take photo during bleeding the loop ... 30mins still got micro bubbles. Shut off one of the pump bleed faster ... my bad admiring the tornado inside the reservoir :D

Hmm, why does it look to me that GPU full cover has inlet/outlet connected for flow to go straight through/with bypassing block?

Because it's a 295 EK block which has a very different layout than most conventional waterblocks. I believe it's seated correctly like this :).

Oh, ok then. I just checked in initial post that 295 changed to 5970 with EK FC5970 block and that IIRC was conventional one.

Personally, there's one thing about your loop routing that I would change. I would keep it res > pump > radiator > GPU > motherboard like you have it now, but instead, I would then route it CPU > radiator > res. The tubing from motherboard > radiator > CPU just looks... odd and cluttered to me.

I think it would cut out a bunch of tubing for you and make it look cleaner.

I guess to make it clearer, I would:

res > pump > radiator > GPU > motherboard > CPU > radiator > res

instead of your

res > pump > radiator > GPU > motherboard > radiator > CPU > res

The EK 295 single PCB Block has the parallel flow design .. kinda cool :cool:

I like the idea! The reason I route the hose in this way because I want my CPU to be cool as possible ... maybe 1 or 2 deg better. The radiator before the CPU is the first radiator that intake the fresh cool air. I tried to visualize the hose routing ... it almost the same. Thanks for the idea, appreciate it a lot! :)

It won't really effect temps at all because you still have the same radiators and the same pumps. Water temperature evens out after a certain time to its equilibrium temperature. Longer tubing like yours or shorter (I think?) like mine won't really effect the temps at all.

With 2 radiators stack, I believed the first radiator will be cooler than the second one. That's why I connected the CPU only to the first radiador. Maybe I'm wrong ... let's see the outcome after the completion of this project. :p:

I don't have a huge preference between intel and OCZ SSDs, but some OCZ SSDs would look very sleek in there.

Also, somewhat off topic, there is a PCI card that holds up to 4 SSDs ... I'll try and find the name and link.

Yeah still modding stuff though not much time on my hands atm. Just enjoying my rig for the time being. Hopefully i can start on my SFF project soon. Eyeing the lian li cases featured in cebit. Just waiting for them to be released! That coupled with the recent price drop for the i7 is irresistible... :D

Great! Got my SFF project too .. actually it's a DIY NAS with 12TB storage. Thanks god the HDD now quite cheap :p: Lian Li case now more and more looks nice. Hehe! i7 is irresistible :D

No update for this project today ... have been busy with the house spring cleaning! Clear my store room ... Goosh! Never know that I keep a lot of junk! A good thing that I found something that I lost for very long time.

Try doing the sleeving this morning ... I wish to had the MDPC sleeve, they looks awesome! Mine just the ordinary sleeve (china made) Have been quite sometimes never doing this. Kinda miss out some of the step .. heat-shrink different length, not tight enough etc. :shakes:
