Hey josk1, awesome build! Can you tell us something about temps?
worked fine!!!
now it starts even faster!!!
here's the solution
now this is something you don't see everyday... nice job doc!
Very good execution! Very interesting "assemblage of components" (I hope you understand what I try to say :D) :)
Wow, that is one amazing mod.
Great job.
just say it in easy words nils. sexy ;)
you can see it everyday... in my office ;)
yeah, but it's really easy and the windows mode don't work 100% time
i do understand what you mean, and i do appriciate!! :D
thanx mate
i'm no xien, but trying to get pictures done right ;)

ok now i can tell you a bit more!
under XP pro, running @4,0GHz the CPU would always stay under 30°C idle, and under 40°C running tests like super pi and below 60°C in 3DMark06!
new try out:

ok guys,
i'm finished now! i still need to fix the actual desktop, but that i can't do before moving this thing in my office (and god this sucker weighs a lot!!!! )
last things i had to do was : fixing the jump starter and its cable, and same thing for the DVD-burner!
the jump starter's still in the same place, so no need for further image.
on the other hand, i had to change my mind about the place for the DVD since it is just a tiny little bit to thick for the top drawer to slide if i'd fix it under the top of the case...follow me here?
any how, i decided it'd be nice to have it in the lower drawer and there it is! :

and here's a view of the back of the main plate (holding the mobo) behind the drawers! (top drawer taken out for the photo!)

(the cable buckle on the low right that looks dumb is the doubled USB for the DVD couldn't have it a different way, otherwise the cable would be too short for the drawer to slide all the way out)
i might protect itwith a white plexi later... if needed! ??
Like it !! Good job ;)
worked all week-end to get my office ready (from the floor to the ceiling everything had to be refreshed!) and I mounted the desktop...
it does look quite AWESOME!!! :D
seriously it looks real great. could'nt expect better.
i should take some pictures later on. will let you know of course!
You did a very good job.
however im kinda lost in why its in here.
This is a liquid cooling worklog section.
Unless your project has water running though it, it should be here instead:

Yep - the good Doctor explained that originally, and I think it works fine (doesn't mean I'm right ;) ). I've been delighted to follow the progress, and can't wait to see the installed pics.
Doc, post pictures of the room with the desk, we've dying to see it.
Work on getting some natural light with those pics, I believe your white's will be much more true.
Dude....that is freakin clean as hell! Its a shame that the window will be kinda facing a wall. :(
Absolutely awesome job, however I can't help but to wonder why this is in the Liquid Cooling Worklog section. Will you be eventually switching your cooling method over to water cooling? I think a single triple rad would cool everything nicely. Something simple like one of those Swiftech Drive series of radiators so that tubing is kept to a minimal.
thanx man, appriciate it!
i'll try to do that ;)
nope the window ain't facing the wall... it's actually almost the only thing you see !! :D
and i say it again, i'll stay with aircooling since it's a professionnal computer and that i need it to be as reliable as possible!
guys, here's just a quick tease taken with my cell-phone.
will do better tomorrow or the day after... (after I clean up that mess a bit ;) )

(see autobot , it ain't facing the wall :D)
Wonderful build, congrats :)
1st step of integration done. PC's in. Next step to integrate into table - mini fridge and mini bar for beverages :)
P.S.
imho something should be done with cable mess besides table near wall ..
i know i know, the thing is that for a week or two i have to use the crapy old computer from my predecessor because the maintenace guy for our network is on vacation and can't get the things needed done on my build... so all the cables you see are from the old P4 (fujitsu siemens) when i'll kick it out you'll only see one cable in (power) and out (to the screen)!
josk1: I wonder how might IT people feel when making visit to you .. i'm shure they'll pay more attention to details of what's under table then what you are telling them as doc :D
Great Job Josk1! I really like it.
Umm, Doctor I really hope that I am not seeing a pack of cigarettes on your desk.
