For macros I now use my brand new Canon 60mm 1:2.8 USM lense :clap:
I had to buy ... the macrorings are really uncomfortable ;)
The quality is the same - it is only more luxurious :D
I use the normal electronic solder, a fatter soldering tip and over 400°C :up:

No, it is for the removed POST-LED (shows errors if there are some)
The Problem is that these LEDs are green :down: and I didn't want to put tape on it ;)
Now I can plug it in when there is a mistake.
Great work Xien, this is a little random but wanted to say it.
When this case first came out, I thought it had so much potential, but at the time I hadn't done a ton of modding and it was a bit daunting to do what I wanted to with it. But you my friend, have done what I would have wanted to do with it, it has just turned out amazing and I'm so glad someone has used this case and used such a great amount of skill to make it shine.
You've done a great job and I'm thankful that someone did this case justice.

I looked through the thread and didnt see and internal pics of your wire hub in the back. Got any?
maybe you should slap in one or two printed labels for the cables? kinda dizzy to see which goes to which ... lol
I"m absolutely shocked at everything here.
1) The know-how to do all of this. The knowledge displayed is insane.
2) The time and effort put in to all of the attention to detail. The patience is simply evident in every single piece.
3) Even the photos are sickly highly quality. In fact calling them high quality doesn't begin to do it justice.

Here are some extreme macros of it ;)
But I can explain the function to you:
in the middle I placed a strong Transistor that is switched by a negative Basis signal (the one from the MB that normally switches on the LEDs on the back of the AW9D MAX - I removed them because I built this strips for this effect)
Then I connected one of the adjustable fan ports to this circuit.
Now the LEDs are switchable and adjustable over the Bios.
I don't know what you really mean...

I of cause choose the best caps for the LED-board.
If cou cut the cover away, every capacitor lookes the same ;)
The circuit itself is a simple transistor switch with a strong PNP. Basis to the MB, collector over the LEDs to "-" of a fan-port and the emmiter goes to the adjustable "+" of a fan-port.
This of cause does not work with every MB ;)

And concerning the LED-switch: You just use one fan connector on the MB as voltage source and the transistor circuit for the needed amplification to get the right voltage level for the LEDs, right? Nice idea man, nice idea. And the AW9D is perfect for that.
