Yeah I tried 3 times throughout the day got the same every time, finally took the dl .
I have access to disk's thru work but would of been handier to have them myself.

well i just downloaded it. i didn't see an option for disc delivery anywhere. oh well

I went to the website instead of calling MS directly. Input my info, same email, credit card, etc....
Went through. :up: Win 7 pro for another $29.99. I can't DL it at the university since I can't disable mcafee. :shrug: Since I already own a disc, I don't care. I can just DL it at home.
I may try it a third time with a different credit card, different name, but same address & email.

b/c you get one key. you get a 32 or 64 bit with the discs, but the dowload is only 32 or 64, not both.

Oh well i went with win741 and got a disc kit for HP 32, already have HP 64 OEM.

I tried again with my email and 741 stated that my email addy had already been used. I'm SOL unless I can use someone else's. At least I got 2 licenses from one email. :up:

But I have a problem. :( I can only download the EXE version and not the ISO version. The download manager for the ISO version fails and disconnects me from the internet and my network, but the EXE version works fine. (How is that possible, I don't know.) I just would like the ISO version because I can use it on a fresh PC.
So can I get the ISO through a torrent and use the key that they gave me, or is there something special with this student version?

If you can manage to find a 100% non-hacked version of win 7, I'd say go for it since you have a legit licence.
I never tried the ISO since I own two win 7 discs (all pro). Re-download?

Just a heads up that this deal is only going on for one more day. It expires tomorrow. I just got off the phone with them and got mine ordered, but I had to order the Home edition, they didn't have any Pro ones in stock anymore. My bill was $37 and some change
